In my opinion Korean series are a lot better compared to Japanese ones ( only few I liked). But movies I prefer Japanese ones, especially horror ones or deeps ones.
In the end both don't differ too much, I have to say that I like Korean actors more though. Most of them just look better to me (their acting still is mediocre in most cases).
