Oh, right. Says it's malware. Batoto is the only site I have ads allowed for. Could be from somewhere else, but it seems unlikely.

It's the adlfw bug. No choice but to use an adblocker when those go out of control.

I've reactivate mine (once again). If I can't even use the site without it, what else can I possibly do?

 

The redirects have gotten really frequent lately, but I'm keeping batoto whitelisted as long as I can more or less use the site.

Twice now I've opened a page and immediately had an exe downloaded to my machine.  Both times I was running Windows 8.1 with Chrome v34.  The second time, I was on this page:

Also this second time, the file downloaded was "flashplayerpro_Setup.exe".

 

I honestly don't know if it is caused by ads or not (I never click on any), but it has never happened on any other site.  Here is the screenshot of the page (only one ad, and once again, I'm not sure if it was the cause):

The first time it happened was 3 days ago (different url, I forget), and an exe called "update.exe" was downloaded.

I'm posting this for a friend who came across an annoying ad, but doesn't have/want to make an account. Sorry for the lack of information. They only took note of what happened and the ad URL. I tried to confirm which Batoto page the ad was on, but we use different browsers and operating systems, and I didn't run across the ad.

An ad on the homepage tried to download a file named Setup.exe(3rd time this past few days). Chrome detects it and marks it as malicious sotware. Ad is called "anyprotect". It was a red and white colored ad with something like "click here to download". I haven't clicked, it downloaded itself and chrome blocked it after download.

Getting redirected from the front page on a couple of occasions to

which immediately attempts to download an executable. This on up-to-date Chrome (Version 34.0.1847.137 m) on Windows 7

 

Similar to this, I have been encountering jpgdisplayde dot com which pops up a small white box claiming that the flash player is out of date, and only using task manager to kill the browser stops it from trying to download an executable. It locks down the window so even keyboard shortcuts and the 'x' close button do not work. Chrome/Win 7.

I once again had flashplayerpro_Setup.exe downloaded in Chrome without clicking on any ads. Windows 8.1, Chrome v35. Happened on this page:
