As above. It's hard for me to find series that satisfy me

And I don't think Kubera is my favorite manga/manhwa ever. I don't have favorite. I have series that I love and like to come back to them and Kubera is one of them (so woted YES). For me you don't go above that. It's not like you can love only one person, right?

Right now I follow 7 series:

Kubera;

I don't want this knid of Hero (THIS they can translate and don't stumble over worlds 2-3 times ch.!);

Aiki S;

Black Haze;

Dungeon Meshi;

RPG;

Birdmen

Series that I love:

Save the world in 80 days (for some reasons it's mostly unnkown for people :( )

Kekkaishi and Birdmen (same author);

Katanagatari (Anime but so what?)

Kubera

Graphics stories with text bubles:

Stay Still Stay Silent (and previous work by the same author);

Girl Genius

Astral Aves

Todd Alison & the Petunia Violet

And thats all. Considering that is 5 years of my live serching internet in hunt for stories it's so...  few

Not mentioning Books (and movies) obviously and games to.

i've gotten super into light novels recently so idk where kubera ranks including those.

It was my favorite, then i started reading mima and now i love that so i'd say they're tied. Brilith, teo, and agni are holding kubera up though :P

Kubera is my favorite for a while. It's rare to find such a well thought out fantasy-adventure story with lot of mysteries, especially in mangas.

I equally loved tower of God till haoqin arc, where it went down the drain. I am somehow confidently feel that kubera won't become like that.

Other favorites of mine are historical mangas like Ravages of Time, Vagabond, Lone wolf and Cub etc, which are not exactly comparable to kubera so it stays on my favorites list forever.

Of course it is!

Why else would I be here?

Many here also likes Tower of God, but strangely, nobody mentioned Divine Bell.

The way Divine Bell reveals itsself is similar to Kubera. You get hints and bits of information but not the full story and lanced with some flashbacks.

I also like Black Haze. ToG's second season focused too much on tests and not enough story progression, but seems like it is going back onto the right path.

I normally like manga/stories with unrequited love and/or yandere. I guess I get some of that from Yuta XD

Speaking of stories that slowly reveal itself and has a very large world building, Sora no Kiseki can fall into this category even though it is a JRPG.

I also like Mushiuta a lot, even though the anime did no justice to the light novels.

Well, I liked Divine Bells a lot at first, but eventually lost interest. Mostly, the worldbuilding isn't interesting and most characters are pretty forgettable, and that made the mystery less compelling to me.

Update: Kubera has been slowly descending the list since ranxrana arc.... >_< not ranxrana specifically but general boringness, weird pacing (read as slow) and unable to really feel the impact of saha's death.

Currently, Kubera is still number 1.

But Bastard (Line Webtoon) is catching up. This new serie know how to keep the suspense.

@Pandorally

You are right, Bastard is amazing. But it is so different that it's hard for me to compare the 2. I don't think Bastard will get anywhere near as long as Kubera already is, it would probably make it more boring anyways. So I will probably enjoy Kubera for much longer, that's why I voted for it on first place. As it is now, Bastard is  really good though, suspenseful and actually scary >.< I can't count how often I almost screamed out loud while reading it....
