Dasein in german does not mean to exist but existence. Existieren means to exist. ;)

Caerula giggles on page 17 about the phrase "Existence exists" which is a pleonasm.

Makes much more sense, thank you

About this chap, I reckon the timeskip was very brutal and unexpected, I would have appreciated some swifter transition...

Glad to see the guntroll and known characters tough.

Hard to believe Erica can still outmatch Alita after all she had been through. A shame because I very much liked the beginning of this story.

I think they will go back to the past because there are alot things that need to be told like the Panzerkunst training of both and how they became enemies. Also how Yoko got destroyed and thrown away (start of the first series where she was found in the dump).

Btw.. there is one more thing which seems to be german but makes no sense. -> Kugel keit <- Kugel means Sphere or Bullet but keit is a suffix with which an adjective is turned into a substantive like ness in english. For example:

hell - bright

Helligkeit - brightness

Kugel keit is nowhere near Bullet method. Method in german would be Methode or Verfahren. You could write Kugeligkeit which means sphericity.

Well she does have an additional 200 years of training and whatever build-up she could manage on Alita.

I'm pretty sure that was explained in Last Order. She got caught by the vampire after her big sabotage mission and got pretty badly cut up in that scuffle, then she got sentenced to execution via orbital drop.

Ah... yes.. I already forgot that. I think I should reread Last Order.

It's also pretty clear that Alita doesn't really want to fight Erica, so she's not giving it her all, and Danko did catch Erica off-guard.

During her altercation with Zykrow, who also had 200 years' worth of extra experience and training Alita took a few moments getting her bearings as well before annihilating him. Erica's much better than that, but I don't think their levels of skill and power are as disparate as you might think, Bouzdevhash.

Well for the moment it still seems she's weaker than Erica, but again these chapters are short. Time to reread LO indeed ;)
