Randomly found this manga while I was bored so decided to give it a try. Dropped after 4 chapters and here's why.

 

1. The MC, Amagi Souji, is an idiot.

Starting from the very beginning, he acts like a moron.

 

He sees with his very own eyes two girls flying and kicking each others asses and he does what? Go home and sleep. Just...wow! He then wakes up and acts like his biggest problem is having a gorgeous stalker girl that wants to sleep with him. What kind of moron doesn't ask for an explanation to what happened yesterday?

 

But hey! At least the girl (Hecatarina Brunbart) was nice enough to explain to us what was going on anyway!  Okay, so he was clearing sitting there listening to her explain about her world and why she's doing what she's doing and all the terminologies and stuff. But hey! Does he care? Nope! Still acts like she's a random pervert on the streets and even thinks "is she messing with me?" WTF lol, for god sake you saw her fly. Okay so moving onto the next fight (chapter 3), the MC STILL doesn't know what the hell is going on!

 

Reread the end of chapter 2, go on, I'll wait. He is STILL asking what a coronas is after the girl ALREADY explained what a coronas is! *facepalm* Oh, and he avoids getting kissed by the girl after he saw how she kicked the other girl's ass after kissing him! Its almost as if he doesn't know that kissing is a form of powerup! But hey! Who can blame him right? He didn't know kissing her will cause her to become a badass, I mean its not like he's already experienced it or I don't know, already had it explained to him. 

 

2. The whole concept of the manga is hard to swallow

So, Hecatarina Brunbart comes to Earth because apparently her world has a shortages of "emotions", especially, love.

 

Here's what I don't understand.

Why did she come to Earth? Because she wants to save her world.

Why does she want to save her world? Because she loves her world.

A world without love is robotic. If she couldn't love she wouldn't be trying so hard to save her world. Think about it. If they cannot have emotions, then the only drive behind their actions is reproduction and survival. Therefore, why would she want to save her world rather than just take over Earth? Or, they can just blend in like all the other exiles.

 

3. The MC is an asshole.

 

4. Hella predictable.

Let me guess, MC will never man up and will only whine throughout the series (maybe he will once or twice be like "I'll never let you hurt them! and the girls will get all watery in the eyes and suddenly kick ass"). But hey! he might be pathetic but all the girls will for some weird reason, desperately ACTUALLY love him. Oh and he will at some point hurt their feelings and kick the girls away and then suddenly realize he actually DOES love them and that they are actually the only thing interesting in his life.

That's been Im Dal Young's M.O. since Freezing lucky for us Kurokami doesn't "really" suffer from this pattern.
