I personally thought it was freaking hilarious. Gotta hand it to okarin (author) for writing several chapters of serious development only to end it like this haha

Well, at least Ryouta admits that Takaya has a few screws loose. I wonder if getting eaten and then revived made him all that eager to pop his cherry ('cause you know, let's not tempt fate and get eaten again before becoming adults, yes? ;D).

Then again, I can understand why so many found the chapter ridiculous, the ending IS that awkward.
