So, yeah, some sort of way to keep track of the last page we've read of various titles we're in the middle of would be awesome. Something like the Bookmark function of MangaFox, only perhaps added to the watchlist feature? I don't know how it would work, all I know is that my memory sucks, and I read multiple titles, and it SUCKS trying to remember what the last chapter I read was after waiting a month or two for a couple chapters to be added.

and to help with you memory why don't you make a document and edit it with you chapter information which i do so i know where I'm up to and it is easy to edit and look up

Me like, me like! I would love this since I am reading lots of mangas and it's hard to keep track of what chapter I'm in.
"Have I read this chapter already or not? ARGH!" This kind of thing happens to me when I don't bookmark. So please!

the reason is because we have this wonderfull site called mangaupdates , that holds the biggest repository of information related with manga/manhwa/manhua and other comics , i dont really see the need to be so big as to have every online reader implementing something that just 1 site gives us the best possible solution

I WANT to make Batoto my main place for reading manga online, so I'm taking advantage of the Suggestions to point out one thing that could make the experience better.

But adding features users want is one way for sites like Batoto to grow and maintain a user base. I'm not saying to cater to every whim, either. Also, the fact that some OTHER site has a feature is not a very good reason for Batoto to not implement something similar. Those other sites have those features for a reason: they WORK, and people appreciate them.Actually, re-reading your post, I'm not entirely clear on whether we're even talking about the same thing... I'm not demanding more manga titles be added, I'm talking about a way for users to track their progress through the chapters of the various titles they are reading here to make it easier to pick up where they left off, either because several new chapters were added or because they had to stop reading in the middle of one.

just like how mangaupdates' primary function is keeping tracks of titles by chapters , volumes and w/e else you can think off

well the reason that it is only members cause it would be hard to keep track of the chapter you up to if you are not registered so they wouldnt know if that is the same person that logged on or a different and you have good intention of making this the number 1 place for reading but is going to take time and you are going to need something big that sets us apart from the rest

But, being a reader, why wouldn't they want to HELP the people reading their titles by implementing a bookmark function? I have seventeen titles I'm watching right now. Now, when I read a manga title I read up to the most recent chapter, then wait a few months before checking back for updates. If, after that time, there's three or four new chapters per title, it'd make things much easier if I could mark where I left off. And, I know the need may not huge for bookmarks. This isn't like a demand, I'm not gonna throw a fit if it isn't implemented. This is a Suggestion, like it says at the top of the forum.

Secondly: Is the Watchlist replaced by that My Follows thing? Because I don't see my watchlist over there to the right any more. And the My Follows list only has one title. And when I try to Watch a new title, it doesn't get added to My Follows.

both follow list and watch list are located there and you should better only start new titles as follows , because the watch list will be removed sooner or later , so migrate your titles while you can

Yes, the watch list is for some reason not really supported by the IPBoard Software anymore. Which means you should use the follow from now on.
Go to your watchlist/follows follow things instead and unwatch them.

This might be a lot of work if you got many titles watched but your reward will be that it remembers the last chapter you read now.

Since I was almost finished writing this by the time Loki replied I'll post it anyway even though I'm not really adding anything new.

Follow only helps if you're up to date. Not helpful for starting something " new" I want to tackle Tower of God. A Bookmark would encourage doing it in Batoto.

It still keeps track of the last chapter you read. Not sure what else is missing for you?

@Ankie Biter: he wants to say, if you are reading a series that has got like 100 chapters and you dont have the time to read it all at once, that the bookmark would help you to remember on which chapter you where.
