A new Digimon series was announced, featuring the cast of Adventure 01 when they are 17 years old.

Hell yeah I l liked those 2 seasons! this anime certainly has it's share of flaws, but it's one of the anime's that makes up my childhood, so i'm pretty happy by this announcement

 

Also, it seriously needed closure! Like what happened between them growing up in the epilogue and the last battle in Season 2

I have been waiting for a new Digimon series since Xross Wars ended, though I am suprised they are doing it about a old protagonist rather then making a new one.
But I will still watch it, and probably like it like the other digimon series! ^^

And just adventure 1 too.
I never got around to completing the second one.

The new Digimon series is called "Digimon Adventure Tri", and has a new art style.
The art is drawn by the artist of Tsuritama, this is there second time drawing for a anime.
