It was a new app that had supposedly made ways into the rumors found on the popular board /T/ch. Supposedly, it was a tool for punishment: a program that would allow one to send a person they truly believed to be evil to be punished.
Of course, the details regarding what exactly happens to punished are unknown, and the rumor was written off as just another urban legend.
Lao_189: Then suppose there was a group of people I absolutely wanted to get rid of. What would I have to pay in return for such a service?
> A punishment will be returned in favor. Do not believe that you can escape the brand of your own justice.
> To avoid such a thing, you will simply have to make your own world, one that bends to your rules.
> Of course, I doubt you will ever find yourself in such a position. Conquering the world isn’t an easy task, after all.
> But to answer your question, free of charge.
In the city of Sato, Japan…
A bar is run in the crime underworld that controls most of the city’s assets. Covered in velvet, an old man sits in the center of the bar, where to the side, a man plays the piano with his eyes covered and a soprano singer performs with her ears covered. This bar is a meeting place between those who seek a destiny and the one who will guide them to such a destiny.
The patron of the bar is named Igor. The bar is called the Velvet Room.
WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE CHARACTER SHEETS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.
Your decisions will determine the story you experience. In other words, your Persona and groups, even social links, are influenced by your decisions.
How do these decisions affect the overall plot? Well, Alignment follows “Law”, “Neutral”, and “Chaos”. Certain Personas can only be found by visiting the Velvet Room with the right materials and alignment. As such, it’s encouraged to really think about certain choices, as you might lose out on some interesting rewards.
Of course, decisions extend outside the alignment bar.
For example, certain Social Links can only be entered upon if you make a specific choice, such as joining a club on the first day of school and such. Please note that for certain social links, these will be determined during the creation of your character.
Social Links are ranked up by interacting with different characters. Please note that you will have three different social links, at best, but it really goes into depth with the relationship shared between your character and the social link in question.
Arcana/Persona
Spoiler
There will be a cap of players allowed into the roleplay, only because it would be terribly difficult for me to allow unique arcanas between players and non-player characters. As such, I am looking for at most twelve players.
Now, in each arcana, you would be allowed to fuse around eight different Personas, unique to your assigned arcana. In total, you will probably get ten different Personas, based on the level of your social links and the point of the story.
Your arcana will be assigned on character creation, and will be unique to yourself. Your Persona can be of your own design, but it must be built around the assigned arcana. Please note that I will be giving an arcana based on the character, so if you’re aiming for a certain arcana, I advise doing your research and writing around the themes of such an arcana.
Sato
Spoiler
Fifteen years ago, Sato could be considered the haven of the yakuza. Many organizations conducted business and trade in Sato, and numerous executions took place on the Sato grounds. As such, many people used to refer to the area as a “gigantic graveyard”.
The JDSF eventually set up a base in Camp Chiyoko, and proceeded to turn the entire area into a city of safety. How they managed to completely conquer the yazuka-run territory in a matter of weeks is a mystery, but they managed to establish order in a rather chaotic land.
Today’s Sato holds little resemblance to its former state, as it is now a shining paragon of what a modern Japanese city should be. Although a little small in size, Sato sports numerous attractions that make it a popular place to live. The schools are funded by a company known as the Kouki group, with the young Ryouta Kouki being groomed to take over the group.
Sato Public High School – A three-story public high school, it remains the biggest high school in Sato. The festivals held in this school are also considered to be the most popular.
Moriyama Department Store – A four-story mall, with a lot of trendy stores. Students frequent this area for its fast food restaurants and the such, and a movie theater is available here as well in the third floor. A restaurant called the Kirisaki Ramen Store, run by the young "Bell", is a seemingly popular hangout here.
City Hall – A small government building located in the center of Sato. A gigantic board there often holds requests and such, as well as job listings.
Shopping District – A street with numerous stores, it can be seen as more of a “night” scene, as most of the stores open late at night.
Hasegawa Pond – A gigantic pond with bridges that lead to a small island in the center, where a shrine is found within a tower.
Shoji Medical Center – A two-story tall building, complete with a basement and accessible roof. The only hospital/clinic in Sato, it is almost always busy.
Masao Station – A train station that leads out of Sato into either the nearby mountains or beach.
Dorm – One of the many residents provided for students, it remains an option if you are not a citizen of Sato. Comfy, a three-story building with the third floor for girls, the second floor for boys, and the bottom floor sporting a lounge, kitchen, and the such. Each floor has a bathroom at the end of the hall.
The Comfort Hotel – A gigantic hotel found close to city hall, it is around fifty-stories high. A lot of its ground floor rooms are rented out for big events, such as a visit from a famous personality.
Camp Chiyoko – An area roped off as a military region, it is the headquarters of the country’s army. A lot of mystery surrounds Camp Chiyoko.
Velvet Room – A bar found deep in the shopping district, invisible to the ordinary human eye. However, those with the potential to guide their destiny are welcome here.

The Epic Of X:
Spoiler
While we fade away from the bustling market where our benevolent giant resides, we spend what seems to be endless hours winding through the unfamiliar cobblestone streets. Slithering through the labyrinth of darkened streets and narrow passages until in this expansive city, we reach a place where the light rarely touches. There, beneath a fickle and flickering lamp, sitting upon her throne that marks her the queen of the underworld with a cunning and seductive smile is none other than I-Am-X. Calmly observing us with a yellowed iris beset upon harrowing black, her fanged grin only grows wider as her fingertip guides the rod that stirs a tall, thin glass of suspicious looking Red Wine. Here in the Dark, we exist temporarily in her Kingdom. A place where the unsavory sorts can find sanctuary, a black market, and often the tools of death, subtlety, and subterfuge.
Sliding her sultry fingertip upon the spine of a book, the tome seems almost alive as it shudders and props open to a blank, but weathered page. Dipping a sharpened fountain pen in ink, she takes her mark upon the leathery parchment after a sip of her Bloodied delicacy. Not a moment later for us, the innocent-minded folks living upon the streets above, she describes to us her next devilish machination.
These sort of RPs are a lot easier since I can take a lot of stereotypes or stuff from the original source. At least a constant source of inspiration will be available.
And plus, to ensure the past doesn't repeat itself. After all, one will become wary of proclaiming interest/joining an RP if it goes nowhere after going throught he trouble of making a character only for the RP to die before it truly begains. With all the failings of the RPs beforehand, I just wanted to make sure.

Does this mean we'll be able design our initial Persona and if we earn more later in the story, do you design and give them to us like the arcancas? Or we design all of the personas once we unlock/get to have another?

Ayee, I'll try to whip something up. Need to find a picture first, especially one befitting a student in highschool.
Time to hunt!
