a topic for discussing the rules and possible loopholes to said rules

  • Once you roll the dice and get your number, you can raise any skill you want.
  • You can become a dicer by using any dice that has not been <Awakened>.
  • Dice that have not been awakened are blue, dice that have not been <Synchronized> are red.
  • The details of any quest that have not been completed can change at anytime.
  • There is no way to reuse a used dice.
  • In the case where a dicer dies, the dice that he has collected will return to their original blue color.
  • Quests can be given through any means of communication. (Smartphone, Email, Mail also possible).
  • Once a person becomes a dicer you cannot cancel your dicership.
  • There is no way of correctly identifying who is a dicer and who isn’t.
  • The white dice resulting after synchronization are great for board games.
  • As the area where the skill is applied is larger the lower the power
  • On the other hand, as the area where the skill is applied is smaller the higher the power (so called amplification)
  • X doesn’t sanction anything as long it’s not against the game’s rules.
  • Through the dice X can detect dicers and what they’re doing.
  • But X will maintain your personal privacy.
  • All quest that X has requested can be offered to anyone.
  • As soon as the quest is completed, the dice will form at that location.
  • If you'd like to raise your stats, let X know which you'd like to use via text, speech, ect.
  • Every dicer is ranked against each other
  • Because regular electricity lines are not used, all messages are free of charge.
  • The dicer's range of being able to use dice depends on the user's limits.
  • Even when activated (red) dice are passed on to others, the ownership does not change.
  • Activated dice can be put on standby if it's not synchronized.
  • Because skills that are being raised have a wide range, in the status only figures will be displayed.
  • Dice are made of the hardest substance, In other words, it's impossible to break.
  • Teleportation costs 1 dice point for every 10meters.
  • Time Pause cost 1 dice point for every 10seconds.
  • Teleportation is only possible to a place that the person knows.
  • The difference between an A Ranker and B Ranker isn't the number of dice collected, but to what extent you raised your skills with dice.
  • To use skills that surpass, or to any special powers, you need to have some activated dice.

ok now up to date

If you mean Byungchul, they were in his pocket when he fell & scattered across the sidewalk, that's how moat people in the school became Dicers.

no, those were the dice he got for completing the quests at the school. Im talking about the dice that he already rolled and turned red. The 6th rule says:

  1. In the case where a dicer dies, the dice that he has collected will return to their original blue color. So all the dice que collected and used before he went to the school, that were red and useless at that time, whent back to beeing blue, so they can be rolled again. So there must be a stash of several blue dice, probably at his house.

I just don't get one point. Where all the teleport, night vision skill come from? if Byungchul investigate the Dices, he sure know about them, why don't he use 1 dice to teleport to avoid dead? Maybe someone has to reach a number in one stats to get the skill, but DongTae, who prefer max out agility first, still got Night Vision, it's confuse me....

night vision is a normal skill not a advanced one like Teleport and Time Pause. Everybody has some level of night vision all that was was someone using dice to enhance what they already had.

No, he got 15 Dice that night, there are 21 shown when he's falling, & earlier we see that his pocket is full of them.

If he is falling, he is not dead yet, so the dice should be still red it they are the used ones, and why would he carry them arround with him?. Besides, before that night he only got 6 dices? he wasn't a dicer for that long, but only 6 dice till that moment is a really low dice count.

His red dice where most likely on standby and released upon his death remember his pockets were completely full of blue dice, he droped some, his arm hurt when they synchronized then he lost his grip and fell to his death. My guess is that he told X to put all his points in to his arm and when those dice hit the ground it went too far beyond his maximum physical capactiy.

just by rolling dice your points dont get used, you have to tell X how to use them, each time. Specially since him was experimenting on how much diference points did on his strenghts. For example, if he rolled a six, for de sake of his experiments he would synchronize each point one by one.

Besides, i dont see the point in him carriing all his red dice with him.

Well, Byungchul doesn't strike me as the type to keep a trophy cabinet, but it's true that he ought to see he's inviting misfortune on himself carrying more than the 1 Die it takes for X to see he's doing the quests. If I were to guess just based on his personality, I'd say he'd probably try to get them analysed or throw them away. Perhaps it's some sort of artist error after all?

The fact that they're all blue Dice though might also mean they don't just automatically revert to blue when the owner dies, but X actually has the ability to 'reload' them, as it were.
