Really hope its Fujimaru, it'd be too weird if it was the old man instead of the hero of the manga!!!

She's just basically a useless character. The author probably thought she wasn't fit to be Fujimaru's partner. After all, Fujimaru is like the best when it comes to hacking. So Hibiki suits her more, which is somewhat like the best hitman girl. So yeah, super couple or something.
