doll = toy (it just sits there and looks at you)
human = pet (it does cute things on it's own) (I clean it up later)

I'd love to have a dragon, phoenix, and a chocobo.
I'm actually a little surprised no-one has mentioned a chocobo yet.
I want a dragon because they're magical and can breath fire, ice, lightning or whatever they feel like. Not to mention it's a dragon, so it's certified badass anyway.
Phoenix's are the embodiment of fire, and fire is awesome.
And a chocobo (like an ostrich) can be ridden, because it's meant to be ridden and can heal wounds, breath fire, or breath lightning depending on the color, and the golden chocobos can actually fly.
