Hello guys,

I thought I might start a discussion thread for raws of the "Frozen Tears" arc.  

This thread will contain a lot of spoilers and theories so be aware.

Anyway, 

I think Agni will/might save Gandharva and the rest of the city, or he might just kill him, but I really hope not since Gandharva right now in sura form has the equivalent power of a god and more so, Agni on the other hand is tied by the contract with Bilith which further limits his power.  Of course he might take the sword of Re and have a go at it, since he's immortal in a way which the sword would not affect him.  Still, Agni values friendship, at least I hope he really does and sees Gandy as a friend.  If Agni does save Gandy somehow without a death battle I think Gandy would join up with Agni and his team as he really doesn't have any further loyalty towards god Kubera with finally accepting his daughter's death.  This would benefit Agni.  Actually, I think no ones on god Kubera's team anymore, not even god Kubera himself. So it'll just be Sagara and co.  

As for Teo, although I really wish she was alive, I guess there maybe are limits...  But who knows?  Agni might feel something similar with the situation and decide to go kill death god again, there's nothing wrong with breaking the rules when you've already broke them before.  Still, it's more likely it won't happen.  

 

The worst that could happen is that Gandharva and Agni both died in a life-death battle, both priestesses died as well, Bilith from Agni's power over usage and after everybody died Sagara stood over their corpses and laughed like a maniac.  (crosses fingers)

And some arcs only last a few chapters, so a new discussion thread each time isn't needed.

Well, TOG has a discussion thread for every chap that comes out.  Raws and translated.

We're nowhere near ToG-level yet in terms of posting activity. Each new ToG chapter results in about 30 pages of discussion. Kubera raws currently average what... 5 pages per chapter?

Besides, we don't know how long this arc will last, so if most of it's over already, it's pointless to start a discussion thread now.

Mostly, you should have consulted the rest of the forum to ask whether it's a good idea to start a new thread yet.

............personally I'd like seeing Sagara laughing maniacally while standing on a pile of dead main characters. But that's just me. As far as I'm concerned Sagara and Leez are about the only completely honest characters in the whole story.

 

I'd love it if a big chunk of the subterfuge and ambiguity was swept away in one fell swoop.

Sorry Mizura, perhaps I should have consulted but where would I do that?  If we are going to have only one raws discussion thread then wouldn't it make sense for the name of that thread to be changed?  Right now I just see Emmity forward chap 51 discussion, isn't that a bit misleading for new users and others?  Wouldn't they think that that discussion thread is only for the arc or chapter?

I assure you that until now, EVERYONE managed to find the correct raws thread. :\ We've had dozens of new users recently, and they all went to the correct thread.

 

And yes, you should have asked in the existing Raws thread.

 

Also, you must have missed the first half of that thread name: "Kubera Season 2 discussion Raws"
