I'm on an unsubscribing spree of all the low quality shoujo manga I once liked to follow. How come they almost seem to annoy me so much now?

i quit reading shoujo manga years ago. i'll only try one out if someone i know assures me that it has surprising aspects that makes it different from the other 99% of the genre.

A few years ago, the Batoto recent list was mostly shoujo garbage. But, we powered through and now they only appear in single digits.

but in the beginning, we also had a guy who read and commented on pretty much every shoujo manga.
i never had to fear reading something worthless, because the purple library guy would have written a perfect review so i could know which category it belonged to.
