That cover...oh man that just hurts me in so many ways. In "good" ways mind you but still.
I'm kind of let down that it's a side story rather than an extension to the epilogue :/

Even if it's disrespect, the whole fact his student didn't try a surprise attack is a sign of development.
if only the author stop at "saving her lives", not some anime logic miracle bullshit this would be a nice story.
It could also be a sign of "lack of respect" actually to use your teacher's first name like that.
