I guess I'm okay with a possible Oguri x Chinami ending, but definitely isn't my preferred one.

For one major reasoning: So much character development has been spent over time on showing Yuika growing feelings for Chinami and liking her as a person, despite the taboos. Oguri cares most about beautiful things -- which is only true of Chinami after the change, and not really shown what one would call love for Chinami before this. Merely a friend and manager taking care of their client, etc.

So I see Oguri as having much more superficial feelings for Chinami than Yuika does.

Are you people actually taking a gender-bender romcom about idols seriously? tumblr, get the fuck out of here.

Well there goes my hope for a yuri ending...

I hope it goes like this

Bahaha this manga has been conveying that gender is not important when it comes to love. So not sure what everyone is so shocked about. I kind of read this to see if it will take this path. The MC fell for Oguri because he show he cared about the MC and is willing to go out of his way to help and even save the MC.

Everything was leading to that. Why can't we have threesome (maybe even fivesome with all these lurking around?) for once?!

....really... really we're going with the Oguri ending? Are you fking kidding me? God forbid a shoujo-ai ending with the MC stuck as a girl or a regular hetero ending with the MC now back to being a guy. no no we have to pick the shounen-ai answer everytime if we get the chance in a gender bender. What a load of crap. First of all isn't this less love and more "dependancy"? He fell in love with Oguri because of the way Oguri took responsibility for him no more no less. I'm not looking forward to the final chapter.

So much rage here.

This author...I think his talent really lies in creating decently mediocre stories--and then savagely, brutally ripping their heads off.

Ugh....at this point I don't think I want any of the likely endings. Oguri ending is definitely not gonna turn out well for any number of reasons. Going out with Yuika-senpai either as a guy or girl after that is no good either. Open ending would be terrible too....

Probably best way is to shake things up again is to genderbend Yuika-senpai or Oguri. That could add another dozen chapters to this.

'he' lays bare his feelings to Oguri, he accepts, then later, Chinami 'miraculously' permanently turns back into a guy - shit then goes all yaoi on us, because "GENDER DOESN'T MATTER!"

OR,

Oguri declines, and we get slapped with an open ending.

He ends up with the male childhood friend she's known for years and is a playboy?

 

A unique ending to a gender bender manga, yet...

 

... why are my feelings a bit conflicted?  I am happy yet I am more hurt for Yuika, because Oguri is a playboy who can land with any girl, yet Yuika is all alone.
