I say nay nay! "End" is the title of chapter 28.
It's far from ending abruptly. I just checked Mangaupdates. Apparently they're at volume 14 in Japan, while we're still at volume 4. They even display the cover of volume 14 on their site and in the Batoto-description of Ouroboros you can see the cover of volume 8.
(Hibino is also cute as hell.)
