WELLLLLLLL. The story and that weird flashback with the king sucking on the white girl's breasts imply that the power does have a downside. Maybe it's so addiciting it ends up making the person that relies on it unable to lvie without taking it more and more, maybe it reaches a point where the transformation breaks down the boy so much that you the regeneraiton doesn't keep up?
Too early to gather yet, but I'm enjoying the development so far. Much more interesting that Seikon no Qwaser's first chapters, that's for sure.
