I do like Shoujo manga (although very few)
And this is Shounen, it is published in Shounen Sunday.
I think only Admins should be allowed to change a genre and there should be a demographic section just below genres.
Yep, that's right, people should understand that Shounen/Shoujo is not a genre, it's the manga's demographics. Published on a shounen Magazine therefore shounen, it doesn't really matter if the other author's work were all shoujo or not, even if it has the "shoujo feeling" it stills a shounen.

I just took a small peek at this author's work and they're far from Shounen (this is no exception), so this time I changed it to Shoujo. I guess that you could add Shonen, but definitely do not remove Shoujo -face it: you like a Shoujo manga, big deal.
Arata: the Legend? Not nearly as legendary as Arata from Trinity Seven.

I really hate Kadowaki. I just can't find a single redeemable feature in him. He's like a douche on the internet, twisting everything to be about him. If that guy just got a shrink, countless of lives would have been saved. Good job ruining it dickwad
Actually, one more thing. Why the fuck does the mangaka insist on making every female character completely useless without a male there? All this damseling is pissing me off :X
Just finished reading all 179 chapters, and i conclude that the manga is so full of dumb my head starts hurting. The main protagonist is dense as a diamond, cant spit it out towards the girl he likes and is naive beyond reason, the "main antagonist" is a self centered brat with self esteem issues and a step away from being a sociopath mass murderer, the main female cast are reduced to either fan service, damsels in distress, morality pets or devices that prove the "power of trust and friendship". The guys behind the bad guys are just full blown psychopathic asshats who gets off on suffering and wants to make both worlds hell on earth.
I really hope this comes to a conclusion soon, cause i normally hate dropping series when i have invested so much time in reading them...

I don't know which "shounen characteristic" is the worst. One Arata is extremely dense, the other is stupidly naive/kind... On seconde thought, I'll go with the naive one.
Seriously, just end that Kadokawa moron, all he did to Arata was due to nothing more but pure jealousy, it really does not justify all his actions, and Arata keep insisting with the "let's go back to friends once again". BULLSHIT.

Reached Chapter 102 still with no signs of declining. Sure, Yataka's arc was a little weird and silly, but it was a fun weird and silly.

I dunno if this can be consider a spoiler, but that's only the beginning imo. The later chapters does decline a bit and it also looks like the author had a bit of hard time struggling to come up with some contents. But still that doesn't mean you should stop reading or w/e, as it's my own opinion
So, I liked the anime and decided to read the manga. Two chapters in, I already feel that it's better than the anime. 28 chapters in, I know that it's better than the anime. Could the anime really be the worst adaptation out of three Watase Yuu manga adaptations?
Really really sad for those who only see the anime, no Seo and did Kotoha and Arata even kiss in that?
the anime covers the first 62 chapters and part of chapter 63 but cuts out chapters 34 to 42
the anime is faithful to the main story but deviates and cuts parts out for pacing so i would recommend to read from chapter 1 but if you want to just know what happens after the anime ends read chapters 34 to 42 (or you will get lost latter on) and then start on chapter 63
these were the only major changes in the anime that i can remember so if anyone want to list all of the adaptation changes feel free.
