I can understand irritated or confused, but bored? Or do you mean "board"?
But it is sorta true that the extremity is mostly at the same level in all the chapters. It may change between "just" extreme and "WTF did I just read" extreme but we don't have any real "low" moments as such. I think that will change though. I myself can't see this same pattern happening too many times in the future. It needs to become a usual harem at some points, I mean it has the criteria. Seeing Yamiko go into Reaper mode too many times just as a gag makes it like Louise's explosions in Familiar of Zero or Index's bites in Certain Magical Index meaning that it becomes so normal that it gets tired. But who knows, this is a unique series.

On another thought, this manga has the most interesting characters ever. Each character has his or her own peculiar and unique characteristics that greatly contribute to what happens next, and that's what makes the story come alive. I personally like the MC the most (no gay).
