So the protagonist is a ... moron, right? As someone who was until recently a guy, they should know the dangers of their situation.
To me it just seems that a person risking their future for the sake of cleaning a bit of soup off of themselves is irrational and silly.

Umm first time reading something like this and i am lost. Mc likes airhead girl but she likes his best friend?
The gorilla in the first chapter mentioned a rumor about how confessing in front of a particular mirror in the school would make your wishes come true. Loki later mentioned how it had been 'worth it' to spread around a particular rumor so he/she could observe the human world, and every time we see Loki's 'eyes' it's in a reflective surface of some kind. Presumably Loki started the rumor and noticed Mizuki because he happened to pass in front of a mirror and catch Loki's attention since, as many people have mentioned, Loki is mythologically fond of fooling around with gender roles.
Search the wikipedia. Loki is the prankster (or trickster) god. I assumed Loki was bored , until she found someone that she can prank on.
