The anime gave the manga the Rosario+Vampire treatment- overly emphasized the ecchi to the detriment of the story. At least that's my opinion
It was one of those "So bad it's good" for me animes. The manga definitely gives better story and has more action than the anime but I enjoyed watching the anime. There might actually be more ecchi in it than the manga.
so just read the comment, it seems there is an Anime of this. Is it any good ?
Like the whole series, you mean?
A bit of a personal thing, but I won't translate while anime is being aired. We'll release again soon.

An easy way to support the title, if you can't swing buying tha whole magazine every month.
(Oh, and massive spoiler warning. Obvs.)
That much awaited "fighting" chapter in anime with Takeshi and folks.. They just squeezed it into 20 minutes and made it look and feel quite.. terrible?
I'm preferring the anime developments to the manga ones, that's very rare for me.
Muchas gracias y buena suerte.
spanish updated, gracias.
You know, at first it looked awesome. When in second chapter mc made steel balls statement about himself and later all that boob fondling, dark past, cheat like powers and harem premise it seemed like manga would go into my top. Probably should be suspicious already when i heard that mc from "hero" clan, but anyway, turn out that this is preposterous, pathetic, pompous shiiit for money milking. I will not dwell on such facts as completely strange banishing from village (for what, he saved at least one girl from some idiot running amok when adults done nothing), pretty much fucked up power balance (in his flashback he were portrayed as someone on adults level, young genius with super expectations for his future and now he struggling with pretty much every little lowlevel demon), great numbers of friends (isnt most of same age children died in that incident) and all this typical onepiece "tomodachi" atmosphere. Yeah, should just say that expectations were not met, like totally.
The manga tones down on explanations. Look into the LN for it.
I Thought Byakko was the Tiger for snow?
To-jo Ba-sa-ra
Tou-ma Ka-mi-jo
And neutralizing powers.
Legit.
I hope someone can continue to translate the Novel ;(
Think of Touma and his "Imagine Breaker".
From what I read Mio was originally a surveillance target. When demons began to actively target her and drag innocents into it did the 'Hero Village' change her status to extermination target. It's easier for them to kill her than to take down the demons that are after her.
The people of the so called 'Hero Village' has no right calling themselves 'heroes' if they would rather sacrifice one innocent girl than exterminate the demons that are after her. I expect better from people calling themselves heroes.
the little sister has a big braindamage.. when did he ever betray the village or her older sister.. they banished Him from the village.. because he protected her.. yeah good reason... he killed only the demon no other kids.. they were already dead.. I wonder what will happen next.. will she betray him too? even though he saved her life? so hilarious.. would be nice if he would have kicked their asses or even much more..
Can someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Byakko stand for either Metal or Earth(depending on wether the Yellow Dragon is accepted) and Seiryuu for Wind???
Raw for ch.18 is already out.
BTW, there is a spin-off for this series. Can anyone translate it?
The villagers most likely have a different story than the one we have - one that actually makes Basara a "villain" and thus makes everyone hate him.
As for Mio, honestly - she IS the Daughter of the Demon King, meaning that, left alone, she will become Demon Queen herself. Would you rather wait for your biggest nemesis to become a fully empowered threat or deal with it while it is still somewhat weak and unable to control its powers? I understand being mad at the village, but that's because we see the story from Basara's POV - AKA the POV of someone who wants to protect Mio. From a regular Hero PÓV, going after Mio is the logical thing to do.
Who the heck is narrating all of a sudden, there wasn't even a narrator like that in the light novel.
I'm ok with this.
