I feel like it would've been better if it were longer. And the ending, I don't understand it
Wrong language, ~Shoujonk Team~.
At least the art's great. The story, so-so.
Did anyone else mistake this for a Sword Art Online doujin based purely on the cover image?
The ending was underwhelming. It was a little boring that she got all worried about Bro having the Crown and then it was just like "Oh nothings wrong don't worry."
Oh, it's over? Well, that was fast. ._.
There was enough plot in those four chapters that this could've been 3 volumes at least, so naturally, it felt rushed. That, added to the choppy translation made it quite hard to follow, so I failed to get attached to the characters. (Or have any real understanding of the plot at all, honestly. ^^') This was probably a good thing, though, because it wasn't much of a romance in the end. xD (But hey, I saw that open ending coming a mile away, so I wasn't disappointed. xD)
Overall, an okay read if you're bored, but don't expect much from it. It felt like it was meant to be read as more of a bonus for fans of the novel than a stand-alone story.
Still though, THAT ART. Man is that lovely. I'll be paying attention for more from this artist. <3
Huh, over already eh?
Well it was an alright read, thanks for translating Fallen Syndicate!!!
rather fast development, but I guess that's due to the no. of pages.
Pretty much. o3o
My reaction to the end of that page:
You *know* it's good if the cover has some hunk holding a sword, right?
Or Headhunter!
Hey, does that have the word "hime" in the title? OMG maybe it's about royalty! I should go check it out! ^o^ *clicks* *reads description* Ohhhh this looks good! Who made it? *Sees separate author and artist* OH! Is this based on a novel!? Those are always better than other manga because novels can't rely solely on art and need decent plots! *image finally loads* .... LOVELYLOVELYLOVELYOMG-HE'S-HOLDING-A-SWORD-KYAAAAA
Must read this.
Or headsman...
Probably since he chops off the opponent's head, it's a common occurance for people to be bestowed a title according to a habit they have
"The Headless Knight" ... wait what? he has a head! lol
Interesting characters but for a first chapter, I would call it sub-par. Also, I don't know if it's poor translation or too literal but what's with some of the word choice? Headless Knight--shouldn't it be beheader?
Interesting first chapter. Characters are pretty unique, funny even, and the story flowed along nicely. Charlotte is actually competent and seems to have an actual brain. Meanwhile, Albert is a sarcastic, condescending, and short-tempered knight that (for once) doesn't have brigades of fangirls throwing themselves at him (can't stress this enough). My description of Albert makes him sound terrible but he really isn't that bad; quite the opposite actually. Well, he's an interesting character to start off with, at least.
TBH, I was a bit surprised by Albert's personality cuz from the light novel illustrations, he seemed more stoic, though it's good that he's not a typical gentleman knight since his abrasiveness with others adds a more interesting dynamic to character relationships and the story itself.
