very good series
too bad it's never continued in Japan... it's not scanlators fault, they can't scanlate if there's no raw source, lol
I say never, because they gone Haitus for more than 2 years now... that pretty much determine it to be canceled.
it has already been a year since this was last updated and even though it still shows on their site that it is ongoing i don't think they are doing this one anymore because they update all of their other mangas except this one. Looks like another great manga that has some potential goes down the drain.
Oh so you know Karin was actually done by a female mangaka. Furthermore the ending itself wasn't actually all that bad and technically there is even more to the story from what you learn in her other manga Hekikai no AiON which takes place in the same universe sometime around the ending of Karin. It also explains a bit more (just a bit) about Psyche's existence.
I don't know guys. I actually read the Twilight books, and I think that they aren't too bad. It's pretty much the same as anything shoujo on the market atm. I can't speak for the movies as I've never seen them. Besides the drama, Twilight isn't half bad (the books). When the characters are serious about killing each other, that's when it becomes interesting. Sort of.
thats not fair to twilight... o wait yes it is twilight was shit with the sparkles and shit
i love when it stare at him with hunger LOL
pretty much ANY human x vampire love story is a better one than twilight.
Here some examples:
Karin
male human x (big chested) female vampire
(good story, but the author pulled a mass effect on us and added a crap ending, guess he got pissed off at the readers)
Orange Marmalade
Webtoon, female vampire, but her crush has no idea she is actually a vampire (she can't get the courage to tell him- yet)
Rosario to vampire season 1 and season 2
Well, human boy in monster academy, has a crush on female vampire with 2 personalities, she is too proud to actually date him, but he already has a nice harem
Hellsing
Well, not really a romance, but the police girl is still a human at heart and is quite attached to Alucard so it kinda counts as human x human (it's borderline though)
aaaand:
Bram Stoker's dracula
--> NOBODY is interested in weird, thoughtreading, sparkling, indecisive bloodsuckers with ZERO weaknesses (seriously, if you make a vampire story, you MUST either give them some kind of weakness OR make them pretty much the same as normal humans)
And wtf was the "grand finale" of the last twilight movie? That was pretty much:
vampire police gets pissed, wants to kill the main cast.
main cast calls some friends.
Gathering, encounter, short negotiation, staring contest, reunion with fortunetelling vampire family member, bad vampire sees vision of him getting his butt kicked, another staring contest (the vision part ACTUALLY only lasts a few seconds)
both parties part ways, everyone lives happy after that
--> MOST. RETARDED. ENDING. EVAR!
(and the rest of the story isn't any better either)
A pity Koinzell isn't the mc here, he probly would've done all the famale characters already by this point. And the story would be the better for it.
Of course, I'll continue reading since I've developed a masochistic thrill for cliffhangers and hasty "endings", but to everyone else;
CONTINUE READING AT YOUR OWN RISK!
