Remember evangelion and confusing shit like the ending? well here we have a mother-daughter ending...........fakku i love this series it hurts me that there is no season III.

They ARE completely different. I don't know what this guy is thinking and why he ships Omote Moka's mother with Tsukune. Omote was a completely different personality, unwittingly transmitting memories to Akasha. Omote is a completely different person from Akasha. They just look similar. The tinge of pink in the inner Moka's hair is meant to suggest that her hair will turn completely pink, and she is becoming more like the outer version, until there is no difference between them anymore. Only difference would be the inner Moka having pink hair and red eyes as opposed to green ones.

You're only part right. Outer Moka is an amnesiac clone of Akasha who's memories, but not soul, was transfered to Akasha when the Rosary resurrected her. They are kinda the same person.

And Akasha with her own considerable expirences and Moka's memories still loves Tskune. So shipping them isn't really that strange.

And the soul merge is because the Rosary only took memories back to the original not the... Soul.

According to the text Tsukune liked a clone of Akasha who had different experiences from the original. Original Akasha retained the memories of the clone.

The ending does not clearly state that he is going to stay with moka because he is not with the clone of Akasha because it is an open ending. They end at a bus stop with tinges of pink in Moka's hair and no conclusive statements on pairings or if Tsukune is going to continue with the harem.

Not only that but Issa acts like Akasha and Omote are two different entities when he was having that discussion with Tsukune and how his wife died in the explosion but there's still remnants of the one he loves.

This was my first manga as well, if I remember correctly..

Ditto.

No matter how many times I read this series, it always gives me the warm fuzzies inside.

....That being said WHERE'S SEASON III?!!!

Moka fans STOP trying to explain this , he loved AKASHA , he just thinks of her as moka , but she's still akasha , and Akasha loved him too at the end.

I feel the ending a little empty because it clearly states that he's going to stay with Moka because he doesn't have Akasha , so it's like she's his second option

The autor should've gone with the mother daughter ending haha, but it was really good either way:P

I thought they merged together into one... no?  they were originally one anyways.

Also... HOLY CRAP, did not know the Bus Driver was actually the Supreme Commander of all Youkai... no wonder he's so unique and special...

Actually no, they were never originally one.

Here, here and here it clearly states that they are different personalities and thus not the same person.

The father is a polygamist is he?  Looks like the harem end is all but set.

I'm confuse. Did the outer moka really disappear? And how about the  other girls?

Does anyone know if Silver Moka even loved Tsukune? If Pink Moka really wanted to be together with Tsukune, she should have just possessed someone else's body and not her daughter. Or even created a new body or something. What she's doing is straight up cruel and I feel bad for Silver Moka.

You can see signs of "love" when the rosary was broken.  I don't remember what chapter it happened in.  She also told him that he would eventually have to choose her the inner Moka over the outer eventually

Tsukune and moka are not officially a couple yet, but how the manga ends and referring that Tsukune is in love with moka somehow give a good resolution to the whole story. anyway im satisfied with the ending, nice job author.

Actually that ending was WAY open that left me thinking that Ikeda is only taking a break and continue some years later to end the story.. who knows?

GODDAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMNNNN

Didn't regret picking up the manga instead of the anime (making 2 seasons with 12 episodes per season for a series that has 40 chapters and 67 chapters with over 20-45 pages per chapter just smells trouble for me).

Sure the final arc might be a little too Jump-ish for my taste but... glad it wasn't actually a full blown harem shit. In fact,

ONE OF THE MOST SATISFYING EPILOGUE I'VE EVER HAD (though I usually prefer a strict main-couple future epilogue, so to speak).

I demand continuation. Have to see every last bit of that organization being blown.

mother fukker.
literally

so the one that tsukune love was Moka mom......

I'm just curious, which moka disappeared?

nvm I read it, the nice pink hair girl disappeared. It was confusing because there's no color to tell them apart and the real moka was being nice.

it was good.., while it lasted..., i really love the art, and moka as well.., and vampire girl.., those fang...those face.., it make me tingle

Arigatōgozaimashita !, for the work, and for the scanlation as well!

I honestly have no idea how I got here outside of thinking : "Hmpth, I remember this old manga...I wonder how it ended?"
And I must say...The ending is way more existential than this work should be. In fact, it's way more philosophical than the protagonist can possibly comprehend himself.

i think Rito needs a chapter like this, with king Deviluke giving him some tips on how to carehis harem

Not happening since.... the Deviluke king never had a harem his the one-woman type... already said by Momo in the manga...

absolutely. hated. the ending. i want other moka back...

Yeah, it's quite sad because the outer Moka had to disappear.. But well, her personality was kinda left behind to the inner Moka. So I'm kinda fine with it...

This was the very first manga I ever read, stuck in a doctor's office...very first thing to get me interested in everything....only 11 years old....ten years is a long, long time. Thanks for everything, IKEDA. It was one hell of a ride.

This was my first manga as well, if I remember correctly..
