@↓below: Ah well. Let's just enjoy this, guys.
Found this by coincidence and it's a nice manga. But it has too many plot holes imo. First: being hit by the game weapons gives you actual movement (being blown away). I would understand the argument of them "collapsing" or becoming immobile cause seemingly touch (and thus probably pain and movement control) is manipulated in the game as well... but for outside ppl it would seem like someone swings at air and suddenly ppl start flying around (like in really bad martial arts movies xD). That would be kinda ridiculous. And don't mention the slide and propelling thing and probably their stamina... for untrained ppl 1.5 km with fighting isn't a walk in the park. This whole thing would need a dedicated "capsule" to work.
But that are plot holes. The manga is fun and hilarious nonetheless. To a certain extent it even shows how far "google glass" and stuff could take us in the near future.
If the plot holes get filled It'd be a fun serialization. ^^
KANO Yasuhiro ... Loved his work...sucks that most of it gets axed, I swear some Japanese people have no taste
I couldn't get over why no one in the Real World was reacting to them running around. He explained that only people with the glasses could see them as avatars, but unless I missed it, no mention of how people without the glasses would perceive their actions.
This needs to get serialized
Logic is not a strong point of this manga.
a cool augmented reality story (it is virtual reality based on augmented reality right? I think it's called Mixed Reality)
but it seems the author can't differentiate the difference between VR and AR though (about the AR limitation like weapon recoil or the effect of explosion on human)
reminds me a little of dennou coil. just a little more fantastical and violent.
The name is wrote different, so I was misled for a second. This is from the same author of Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa and Mx0.
After reading page 10 I thought this was all utter nonsense. If is she tried to put her hand in the virtual hole, she would be stopped by the real world, thus making the hole just a picture on the ground. After I noticed this, I liked this manga less.
Thank you! I had no idea, tbh.
Weird, why is that oneshot labelled as shounen, it was published in early 2013 in Weekly Young Jump, a seinen magazine : proof
So this is the new trend in shounen, virtual reality and ipod apps?
Kind of impressive that a VR gun generates propulsion-level recoil.
Serialization when?!
