Yeah, but I find it kind of refreshing that he didn't.  Normally it would have been inevitable--they're bad guys throwing their weight around, then the huge more-or-less good guy shows up and gives them their comeuppance.

But in the real world, (big) + (good guy) does not necessarily mean (fighter), and situations often end without any dramatic resolution.  Makes it seem like the kind of random bullshit go-nowhere stories that you might hear high school kids talking about later on the bus, you know?
