(forgets what happened and goes back to read a chapter)
(realizes something reaaally important happened)
OH SHNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
awwwwwwwww :"
Ah.... we need more manga like this :')
Speechless!
What a befitting end to an already awesome series! It managed to end in climax!
Also Mao is so randomly adorably funny!
I just can't believe it'll be officially ending in one more chapter.. how much I've felt throughout the whole story! And I'm also reaaaaally happy for Hiro and Mao for finally being in the places they want to be and everything being solved and they being together. Now I'm just rambling cuz of happiness xD I just want to say how much I love this series and the people for translating this so I could fully enjoy it! So THANK YOUU!!
It's not real shoujo without a ferris wheel.
Can't believe it's almost over. So many manga are ending that are so good. Please let the announcement be an anime....please!?
CUTENESS OVERLOAD. HNNNNNNG--
I was thinking that I have to drop this manga before but good thing I didn't do it. I really followed this manga until the end. ;_;
This has been, without a doubt, the best shoujo I have ever read. Considering that I have read hundreds of different Manga in the genre (admittedly chucking many of them after the first chapter) I feel like I've reached some sort of breakthrough.
Other manga have excellent characters, or interesting framing devices (such as my avatar's reference Bokura wa Itsumo), but none are so wonderfully whimsical, nor so passionately human as Taamo's House of the Sun. Not only do it's characters grab my heart, but the story feels like such a celebration of life, love, and family that I can't help but feel that there will never be a manga that equals it.
This is the stick by which I will judge all other Shoujo manga from now on. Absolutely sublime from start to finish.
Bravo, encore!
Look like the House of the Sun is finally setting and a beautiful sunset it is.
A great, emotional journey all through out, I hope it will end nicely as it begun.![:)](https://vatoto.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png)
Now this is what we call a shoujo masterpiece!
From the start to the finish, my heart was squeezed with emotions but the story or characters never disappointed me and the development was pure amazing.
It was a long road but Mao and Hiro reached it, it's like they evolved and look so great together!
After 49 chapters it finally happened HNNNNNNGGGGG!!!! BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, HIRO!
Next chapter is the last. ;~; This seriously better get an anime. Need to see cute Mao x Hiro animated.
Where the heck did you get that from? The relatives wanted to take him. He was the one who wanted to stay against their insistence, so he could protect the house. Generally it's hella dumb to try to look for similarities in appearance in manga characters who are supposed to be genetically related. Plus obviously there aren't any natural blond Japanese around.
My thoughts for the : A Special Sunrise <3
and the ferris wheel
More importantly,
OHHHH YEAH!!!!!
Wha? She had a whole friggin' arc making up with her dad, compared to like a chapter or two with her mom.
Thought the series was completed after Mao confessed, fixed relationship with her father and moved back in. What a nice surprise.
YES, FINALLY.
I hope she eventually makes up with her dad. Realistically, there would be faults on both sides (she was being pretty unreasonable with her new step-mom) so I hope they will eventually learn about each other's side of the story. Unfortunately, "Shoujo" do tend to be heavily one-sided on these kinds of things, about how one side is always right or always the victim, etc. Kinda reminds me of the feminist movement in general actually.
I notice that the main guy has black hair even both his parents are blond or have lighter hair. Genetically, this is pretty much impossible since black hair is a dominant trait so I suspect he is either the product of a previous relationship or the mom cheated on the dad. Yeah, its probably just anime fiction logic especially since all Japanese are suppose to have black hair anyways but it would explain why the relatives adopted his siblings but not him.
Crisis averted! Good thing that drama with the biological mom is not gonna happen!
Also, laughed very hard at:
Daiki: Who's your boss?
Hiro: The one with sparkles.
Just came across this manga, and read the whole thing (including the DMCA'ed chapters), and I have to say that it's pretty damned good. I really enjoy the characters (although arrogant, perennially grumpy teenage bishounens are a particular dislike of mine) because they are drawn incredibly realistically, and most of them are interesting and sympathetic. A definite follow.
I read this after three months, reread the whole thing, I was just squealing along until it just ended, he just...arghhhh
Though I'm glad the selfish mommy arc was resolved so neatly. IF Mao had gone along with her biological mom
like the noble idiots you see in dramas these days, it would have been hella frustrating. Gotta give it to Taamo for maintaining her standards. I feared she'd go for senseless drama in this one, but I'm so glad I was wrong. And chapter 48 was amazing. I'm a sucker for these little clues that you can figure out only if you want to - they are cute and sweet, plus if someone tries to figure it out, they'll get it instantly and it shows they care. Using them as a plot device was just
Well...are we going to wrap this up soon or will Hina's presence bring up something? I hate to see this end, but if it has to, give me a 60 page epilogue of ten years later, another of 30 years later with Daiki wondering if he has hit menopause. Now that'll be enough.
edit: Merry Christmas!!![:)](https://vatoto.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png)
