It's a bit late to say this, but I think I'm Hot for Teacher. 

Because that was a trick question, especially for a honest guy who has trouble lying.

"Did you two kiss?" "Yes, and went straight for honeymoon practice". How do I get out of this quickly? 1st answer everyone would think of to prevent that scenario: Immediate denial. If he wasn't suddenly cornered, he would have probably taken a deep breath and said what happened... on a roundabout way, of course. Who wants to talk about their sex life to their "daughters".

You're basically trying to excuse his irrationality here. In previous chapters, he managed to solve embarrassing scenarios by being straightforward and rational. But now, he's suddenly irrational and embarrassed, as if he's guilty of something, for no reason other than to complicate the plot.

'Fact of the matter is, if he didn't want to talk about it, he could easily exclaim some variation of: "I want to keep that to myself".
He doesn't need to answer anything when questioned, in fact -- it'd be more tactful to push her inquiry upon her instead of lying to her and running away from the topic like a little brat.

These sort of irrational scenes only exist to create tension between characters, which in turn make one exacerbate and escalate their actions under the guise of "humor".
If he doesn't tell her anything, she's going to MAKE HIM tell her. Hilarity ensues.
I just don't find that funny, I don't like that sort of writing. 

I remember praising this MC for having a back-bone, and having common sense.
So why is that when his 'daughter' asks him "how your date went?" -- he completely lies to her, for absolutely no reason, other than his own annoying irrational feelings of guilt?

That sort of pointless weakness is surely realistic, I can recall quite a few times I did that myself. But shortly afterwards, I'd slap myself and call myself a retard for needlessly complicating things just because it felt momentarily uncomfortable.
It has its merits, but it is not a characteristic I appreciate in characters.
(He doesn't have to be a garry-stu OP MC, he just needs to avoid having any qualities which delay the plot because pure stupid)

Huh, it's not really fake, it's incomplete. The final chapter is 51. Chapter 52, the epilogue, was only printed and not published in the webtoon site, because the author wasn't allowed.
