Is there someone translating the light novel? If so, can someone share a link to the translated light novel?

Well it is originally a light novel. So far there has been a good effort to stay true to the novel as much as possible. Witch in turn makes for odd places for the manga to stop per chapter due to page limits.

 

Although it's a bit awkward I'm fine with it since it means the story doesn't veer off widely or leave important stuff out.

i understand the page limit issue. but they often have leeway in that area. and this chapter only needed 1-2 pages more at the most. totally within the acceptable range.
but the better points to end this chapter would have been just after the first sneek attack or just as another enemy shows or something of the like. ending it where they did in the middle of 2 possible cliffhanger points just feels so out of place.
i suppose for tankobons this style would create a seemless flow but until then we have to settle for awkward chapter break points.

Bad tactic. If they've had time to set up an ambush...and it looks like only one attacker so far, where would the others be? Inside, don't you think, right where you'd most likely take refuge from an attack. And if there were a bunch of workers, where would be the best place to secure them if you didn't out and out kill them. Why...inside the building of course.  

Nope. That incomplete fortress just screams TRAP!!!  Best to go to ground in a defensible spot outside of it where you can watch your approaches. And if he can raise walls suddenly...small insta-fort is outside of his ability? Don't buy it.
