(and 2-season anime) where the shy, introverted FMC who, in similar circumstances, also did not give her "special friend" special chocolates on Valentine's day although, just like Komi-san, she also gave all her other friends chocolates. Her "special friend" was just as, if not more dejected as Tadano at the end of the day knowing he was the only one of her friends who did not receive chocolates. The FMC did not give him the chocolates until months later (having stored them in the freezer) when they actually became a couple. I hope that this will not be a repeat of the same scenario...
