Even if the series was short, this was pretty bad and turned out to be a waste of time.
THANK GOD HAPPY ENDING. ;w;
Except for maybe Yuuki, who loses his gay lover and gets a dump of shitty memories.
nice end. even those who took part in the experiment were touched.
I didn't want Kanda to be the doll. :/ I liked him so much that I got upset over it being him.
Are you trying to say that any half-educated moron could have figured this "Mystery" out? Are you saying that we out here are so dumb that we couldn't untie a pair of shoes if they were tied right over left instead of left over right?
Wait a minute... Are you telling me that it was Kanda all along!?
Umm... Never mind.
And you wouldn't believe just how long it was taking me to get those damn shoes untied!!!
Luckily, my sister walked up and said, "Chuck, those are Flip-Flops! Just slip the f**king things off!!!"
Teh end!
That said, since there are so few comments (lol2pages), looking back at the comments and seeing how many people guessed right (pretty much everyone) tells you all you need to know about the "mystery" of this story.
good job
i think Kanda is the doll. He has the memories of Yuuki. That why Yuuki feels connection with Kanda.
Looks like he got ahead of himself. Too bad he just couldn't see that end coming. Maybe next time he'll use his head before he tries to butt heads with everyone.
Nuff said.
It's quite late, so maybe I'm not thinking about this properly, but IMHO the teacher has to be lying about part of it, or rather inaccurate, otherwise it doesn't add up.
If each of them is stated as having given up a body part to create the doll, that means the teacher is lying about what was given up by one of them, assuming the doll is a "complete human" as depicted. Otherwise we make the assumption that the doll is ALSO still missing a part. Also -- wouldn't internal organs include the heart? So that would mean two hearts are missing?
The biggest flaw and/or clue to this is: Assuming Arrowhead has his own memories: He should be able to describe what his face looks like to the rest of them. Which makes him the most likely candidate to NOT have his own memories, AKA being the doll. In such a case, he would be describing the MC's face. And that the brain in the helmet has been stated to be from "outside the system" as it were.
Assuming no asspull shenanigans from the author. Which seems exceedingly likely.
It can't be the guy missing the heart, because after looking in the mirror he would know the memories and face didn't line up. Although I think the entire game of "guess the doll" is predicated on the doll lying and pretending to be human.
PS: Kanda is probably a girl. Sure Kanda could be the "trap" type boy thats very feminine, but I think not. None of the flashback dialogue uses a gender-related pronoun, Kanda is quick to cry, the jacket and such is extremely oversized. The haircut is tomboy-style. A lone girl trapped in a school with 6 guys, one a confirmed rapist -- when you know your crime was even in self-defence? Yeah, I'd be shitting myself too.
Then this bit of symbolism -- look at the shadows on the bottom of the page. Seems awfully convenient for Kanda's shadow to perfectly look like a girl walking in a one-piece dress. (And it doesn't make sense to mislead the readers)

What if
Welp, I think I might have solved who the doll is.
Thats assuming the daftpunk dude can see like he could with his own eyes. Perhapas he just sees in infrared.
I also thought about the scenario where everyone took their shirts off. But I guess this is where each of the characters ego comes into play.
I won't be surprised if this serie gets axed.
Seriously, I don't find anything which can make this manga worth reading. The characters are unlikeable, the plot is basic, the tests are just plain stupid.
I decided to let it a chance after the first chapter but now, it's the fourth and I find it even worse (eh guys we must open our handcuffs by cooperating. Must at least be Nobel prize to find such a complex test).
The death game plot has been around for a long time. Danganronpa wasn't the first to do what it did.
It's simple, he stated it before: He has no head, meaning he has no eyes and cannot see. He was literally asking if the twins looked alike and such because he does not know. I personally think it's Kanda.
I love how the body parts depicted on the blackboard have that toothy grin Monokuma has though.
It's like Danganronpa with less characters, all males, and the lack of a disturbingly lovable and sadistic bear.
It's worse in every way...
This was marked seinen, but according to MU it's run in Comic Avarus, which is a shoujo publication, so I'm re-marking it as such. If anyone hears otherwise, they can switch it back.
Helmet guy....
I think that too. Because no one is missing a heart. So he could have all of their body parts. And that is the MC's memories.
Geez christ
Body size could be altered though.
But i do agree with the helmet guy and its bugging me; kireato's "Unless the dullahan has forgotten what his face looks like, he should instantly know who the doll is since the doll would have his head."
