Description: | The story is set in a world where supernatural powers exist through science, and magic exists through religion. Academy City is home to 2.3 million inhabitants, which include ordinary civilians and ESPers: individuals with special abilities. 80% of the students in Academy City are active in the "Power Curriculum Program", and out of that 80%, only 7 are classified as Level 5 ESPers. Meet Level 5 "Electromaster" Misaka Mikoto and her friend Shirai Kuroko, who both work together in maintaining peace within Academy City's university district as members of "Judgment", Academy City's student-based disciplinary committee. "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun" ("A Certain Scientific Railgun") is a side story of "Toaru Majutsu no Index" ("A Certain Magical Index"). Always here for the credits page.
I'm going to repeat what I said elsewhere.
Honestly, this was a brilliant chapter solely for Kuriba Ryouko's flashback. Her seeing the cleaning robots as if they were maids, seeing the mechanical repair kit and electrical tape as a first aid kit and a bandage, and the slow realization that she is not the original were wonderfully executed. Probably the best Railgun Chapter we've had in a long while.
The Translator should just accept the fact that Index III will never happen...like me
Misaki (Like Touma, at times), would sprinkle her words with gaming-related terms. One example is when (Spoiler for those who haven't read NT11):
Now we should all jump from a building.
> They thought I was a boy last time.
One would think that Misaka is directly oppressing the fact that her breasts aren't big enough![:D](https://vatoto.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png)
It's a speech quirk.
I've been wondering for a while now, and nobody else has asked yet afaik, so...
Does anyone know why Misaki says "ability" so much? She just seems to sprinkle it in everywhere. Is that just a speech quirk or something?
Our parts will rust and corrode by the time Index III is out.
Now we should all go turn into cyborgs to one day see index III
The credit page did hurt this time, even though it was funny.
Credits page, always best page.
Regarding why this girl was able to split and stuff but Accelerator's damage couldn't be fixed:
Regarding the post I actually quoted:
For what it's worth, brain surgeries with conscious patients are not that uncommon; it helps to limit unintentionally damaging other functions.
Ambrož Bajec-Lapajne was a pretty notable example.
Yeah, I reuploaded it to fix a spelling error. It's still pending though.
Edit: I was finally able to read it~
Thanks for the chapter, guys!!
Was the new chapter deleted?
Oh now, well that's just a terrible thing to say...
Glad you guys liked the credit page. I'll try and see if I can come up with something similar for future chapters.
Also it's good for boilers, washing machines and human consumption, can save a lot of problems.
Not really. All it requires is for your shower(s) to be hooked up to a special water heater/pure water filter. A trivial task for new buildings if you're willing to cough up a couple hundred/thousand dollars for the special water heater/pure water filter (which is pennies compared to the tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars you're spending on the house construction)
