Omamori Himari

Another argument for "Yuuto will find a way to save Himari from going crazy (or at least manage to bring her back afterwards)":

They've been mentioning the "Himari will go crazy"-thing from the very beginning. Not as an "this might happen and needs to be prevented"-thing, but actually as "this will definitely happen, it's just a matter of time". Himari said she'd probably be the first demon Yuuto would have to slay, Shizuku found out that all ancestors of Himari had gone crazy and had to be brought down by their masters, Himari enjoying battle a little to much, and so on...

Now, I'm not going to say that every story needs an unexpected twist, but this would be far to straightforward. If it was "there's the danger that Himari could go crazy", then I'd be convinced that it would happen at some point, and it might be the end of her. But the way it is right now, with all this "inevitable craziness"? She's still definitely going to go crazy, but if there isn't even a chance of bringing her back, it would feel far to cheap.

Himari will become dark ... and Yuuto will need to kill her ...

just like Himari old ancestor being killed by Yuuto ancestor ...

They said that always happened before, the cat demons going crazy and their masters having to put them down. Which begs the question: How was the first ancestor of Himari even "captured" in the first place?

If I remember correctly, when the class president's mind was controlled by the Kyuubi, someone suggested Yuuto using hos family's ability to clear her mind, but he refused because messing with someone's head was to risky. That suggests that there is a possibility for the Amakawa's family ability to be used to affect someone's mind, even though it isn't easy. I guess that's how the first of Himari's ancestors was brought down from "homicidal demon" to "family guardian", and how Himari will be brought back from "murderous monster".

and if Himari get dead, her leftover body / corpse can be used as amulet (Himari already sworn will use anything to defeat enemy ... probably including with her corpse)

youkai corpse can be used as medicine or amulet ...

 

thus this will show the title ...

"Omamori Himari" as Amulet from Himari ...

this might mean Himari give amulet ...

or ...

the amulet comes being made from her body / corpse ...

Yuuto had an omamori/talisman until his 16th birthday, to protect him and to seal his abilities. Since the talisman vanished in the night before the first chapter, and Himari appears right that very moment, I took the name "Omamori Himari" simply as Himari taking the place of the talisman whose power has run out.

Don't be so certain by that.

Even though Matra Milan sensei has already been released many dark-theme hentai in the past, I don't see why he should doing the same with this one, consider this is his 1st attemp to join regular manga community, plus it's a big success, so he shouldnt make fan go mad by killing bunch of characters.

himari got mad because last vol tamamo bit into/ tried to eat yuuto, then she attacked tamamo in the same manner trying to devour her. after biting into her, she said there was something dark and twisted inside and realized it was the energy from all the ayakashi tamamo had eaten before. this mass of energy is what is making himari go crazy (although she did have a slight break down earlier i forget the chapter, but i think vol 9 the ch where the kagamimori sisters (the miko chicks) show himari the mirror and the reflection was a crazy ganguro looking himari). because of this in the last new ch that came out i believe they said that himari may become the next kyuubi. in the last ch that was posted here b4 vol 11, himari was completely nutso and is about to attack the school. as for tamamo, himari pretty much sucked her dry and she has had something of a mental breakdown. she has no memories of what happened before she re awoke


as for kuesu.... this is going to be long / confusing. not so much the words, but the logic and  explaining of what happened.

the first words kuesu's mother says are: kuesu, you certainly did die once, and now you will never die again.

kuesu is immortal from the grimoire that she gained that vast ammnt of power from / turned her hair white: "the book of truth" (vol 0). as kuesu, her mother, and hitsugi explain, grimoires are left behind by magicians/wizards/witches/alchemists ect. to teach others their skills / findings in order to continue on their work otherwise  they and their craft would be lost forever in the darkness/be in vain. they are also proof of their existence. kuesu's mother was saying that she realized when she checked her seal after kuesu came back from abroad that she realized a change in her body (i think it was last vol when we first saw kuesu's mom, she was "preforming maintenance" on kuesu's seal but as hitagi mentioned that seal was pointless. the jinkuji seal would do nothing compared to the power kuesu held. the jinkuji seal is a limiter placed on the jinkuji women in order to prevent a knock back of power. in other words kuesu's seal is merely ornamental since she touched the book of truth - its too weak to seal off her power).  the book contained such a vast ammt of power that many who touched it would die just from the ammt of knowledge it contained (lk brain overload i guess), but the one who did not, would be known as "the second self" of the author (the mad sage / kuruta kenjya) and must be protected along just like the grimoire. her mother explains that something like a curse has been activated with her dying last vol, and now kuesu has become lk the "second book of truth". its kinda hard to explain, but the - lets say "curse" was made by the mad sage because kuesu's existence as the only one able to absorb the knowledge of the book without brain overload / the only one worthy of becoming the inheritor to his / her work is one that needed to be preserved, and now kuesu will no longer age or die.

Pretty interesting... mm...

And about...
