Description: | Rito Yuki continues to be caught in over-the-top perverted scenarios, now uncensored. The alien Deviluke sisters - Lala, Momo, and Nana - still use their unique abilities in an attempt to grab Rito's love confession. Momo, in particular, has a vision: a harem of women all in love with Rito, with Momo herself in the center. After all, if everyone has an equal share of Rito, everyone wins - at least, she thinks. As she enacts this plan, the former alien mercenary Yami, aka Golden Darkness, struggles between her former life as a killer and her current life on Earth. Things get complicated when Mea, a girl with powers similar to Yami's, becomes interested in Rito. Just who is this new enemy? The real ending should have been using the Rito copies to give every girl their own personal Rito.
See you guys in a year when the sequel starts.
Different publisher and different target audience.
wow so this is the end ... shieeeet (for a moment I thought they would make it that any girl could keep a rito xD, at least it's a kind of end)
Well.... It's over I guess....

She had breasts? When was this...
Yeah well you can be sure some things are gonna be changed or censored like Misty's breast size reduction in that pokemon mango a few years back
Lol, SSE has licensed both original To Love-Ru and its sequel 'Darkness' for the US release.

Maybe some hopes.
So... is the ending changing already?
It's a good idea but in one generation the birth rate will explode by the multiple offsprings of the legendary Yuuki Rito, that develop the god automatic ero mode that will give birth to 100 children each an then...sorry wrong manga.
But there will be no problem because the Deviluke an others are a type II civilization so there are terraformation techniques or planets available for colony that are not worth much for hightech resources but are ok for humans.
...
Idea : copy as much Rito as much Harem member ...
and everyone will get their happy ending ... don't know if this will be count as harem ending or not ...
kinda feels like Maburaho anime ending ...
how many so far? i've lost count.... ok Momo Yami Nemesis Lala Mikan Mea Kotegawa Kyoko(idol) Ren Nana Haruna (best to worst imo)
Hide your daughters!
The series ended with no resolution, which is what it should have done, because the author will continue with a new incarnation. First we had the confession to lala (original), now we have the confession to haruna (darkness), next step finally agreeing to the harem plan, with Lala the legal wife (she is the best girl anyway).
Instead of solving the harem problem, they could very well multiply the harem member by the number of Rito.
It's from ch 77 page 14-15
I've read enough h-doujin to know where this is going, mainly the clones attack Mikan though
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)I hate to say it...and I mean I really hate to say it, but damn if the shadow clone jutsu wouldn't be an easy solution to this problem. Multiple Ritos that all give their memories and experiences back to the main one when they poof? Also, didn't he make it clear that he also loves Lala, but just didn't find it fair or something?
This is my two cents
Honestly, I dropped this a few chapters from the end simply because I could tell by that point that there'd be no way in hell a satisfactory ending would be reached within a few chapters.
The transition from To Love-Ru to Darkness really irked me, mainly because of the decreased focus on Lala, who is my favorite girl in the series. I gritted my teeth and grudgingly accepted the ending of the original To Love-Ru due to circumstances involving the artist's ex, but Darkness doesn't have that excuse.
Many of you had stated that the male protagonist of this series was one of the series' main downfalls, and I agree. Rito is a poor choice for a self-insert, as the average reader would never make some of the actions Rito makes. The average reader would never put up as much opposition to the idea of a harem as Rito did. It's just stupid writing on the author's part, and makes this too jarring.
I honestly wished that Lala was still one of the main heroines and got her screentime back, and that Rito actually acted in a way the average reader would, namely: "Oh a harem? Sure."
Rito's behavior is just not very believable. Being anti-harem to that degree is absurd.
One of the ways to believably keep the pace that Darkness had is to just have Nemesis impersonate Haruna, Rito decide to confess to Nemesis"Haruna" before he goes along with the harem idea just to check that item off the checklist, only for the "Haruna" imposter to reject him. Hell, have Nemesis"Haruna" beat him up, maybe even beat him within an inch of his life.
Rito would still go along with the harem plan, hell, he'd be more willing to go for it since he thinks the real Haruna hates him. But he'd be justifiably more cautious about it, and would advance more slowly, to match the pace of Darkness. On second thought, you can just omit the beating/Rito being cautious as a result, so that Darkness can actually fit a satisfactory plotline+ending into its 77 chapters.
The menace of the universe has multiplied.
