She suffered from multiple personality throughout her life because of traumatic events?¿

I decided to discontinue my support of this site, batoto. Therefore, my releases will be (hopefully) taken down soon. It's my decision, and not the staff's, so get angry at me and not them (well, I guess you can get angry at them if they don't take these down, going against my will, but I know you wont). Of course, this applies too to any of my future releases, so don't expect to see me around here any more (I'll try to reply PMs and things like that, but that's it).

Thank you very much for reading my releases until now, and I hope you keep doing so, even if they won't be here anymore.

Edit: Ok, I'm in the middle of talks with the staff, so maybe it won't happen in the end? For the time being, it's wait and see.

Ahaha? What the fuck did I just read?

Yeah, completely in tone with the game. Felt great <3

... What? Sincerely, what?

Not that I dislike it, but... Well, that I expected answer actually. Knowing the nature of the original work this is all too fitting.

ya se viene el final?  se hizo tan corto y sigo sin entender mucho :T

Well, as you can see, next month, this will be the end of it. The chapter comes out on the 20th. Thank you for reading, and I hope you like it.

Edit: Well, like every month... the schedule has changed. First of all, chapter nine will be divided in two parts (chapter 9 part one, and chapter 9 part 2... shocking, right?). Second, first part was not released today as it was supposed to be, and will be released next week (on 27th). As always, the announcement of this change was done just the day before the expected release (that is, yesterday). Finally, the second part will be released (unless they change that too) on March 13th.

Perdona. A veces lo dejo para más tarde porque me da pereza, y luego se me olvida. Cuando sea así, no dudes en mandarme un mensaje o lo que sea para llamarme la anteción y que me ponga manos a la obra.

Just letting you know that it was confirmed that the next chapter will come out the 23rd of January (i.e., in two and a half weeks).

Spoiler

I have my own fair share of questions. Lots, in fact. Actually, if I wrote them all down, I'd probably use about 5 pages of paper.

But then again, the endeavor of asking questions that can not, will not and probably should not be answered is best kept to philosophers.

Heh, this is making about as much sense as Milk Closet did. Well, it's not surprising a nonsensical game got a nonsensical manga. Still reading and enjoying, because I'm a fan of strangeness.

In case anyone is wondering, the chapter that was supposed to come out today was delayed. The new date is the 2nd of January. From there on, it'll come on the fourth Thursday of each month (I'm not sure if this includes January or not).

thanks!

Yeah I knew the game had no story but I assumed people who played would know what's happening.

Trust us, even those of us who have played the game for years don't really know what is going on. Everything about the game is speculation. If you want, and don't mind gameplay spoilers Tvtropes has a whole speculation page. Granted you will have to piece through a lot of bad ones to find some interesting speculations: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WMG/YumeNikki

Yeah, he's someone in the game (Secom Masada), but no, you're not supposed to know what's happening. The game has no story, so even though the characters are from the game, their actions are completely unfamiliar even for those who played the game.

Agreed. As bizarrely awesome as the game was graphically, the game's writing was horrid. I'm not looking for a detailed explanation of the story in this manga adaptation, but less artistic ambiguity and more text would be nice.

What writing? But seriously, the game was more about exploring a setting with a bizarre and sometimes unsettling atmosphere. For those here who haven't played it, I encourage giving it at least a brief try.

So like I've never played or watched the game before, am I supposed to know what's happening? Like is the wonky eyed guy someone in-game?

I've read up on the game so I know a bit of what it's about but I suppose that's not good enough

Okay, this is an interesting sudden departure from the game. Which I think I like better than a straight adaptation. The original had essentially no plot so it would've just been a bunch of disjointed wandering with no plot. That's more enjoyable in a game than a manga.

I do recommend the other works by Tomizawa Hitoshi (the artist). How to Colonize Outer Space is an one-shot that's fairly representative of his manga so it's pretty decent for a quick taster of his writing style and themes.

You'll upload the chapter 5 in Spanish too?

I have it translated. I only have to fix how the text is placed... sorry, I'll get into it right away. I was being lazy.

Edit: So, done. Sorry about taking so long.

P.S i think the translations are great. Sometimes they are awkward, but i think Minatsuki is a really awkward person. So it fits. Besides, she's talking to herself in Mirai Nikki's utterly insane landscape. Would you make any sense when the world around you makes none at all? Thanks to Dreamless_Window for the awesome translations!

As for the translation matter, I must note that it's nice to see that whatever bad English there is, it does not really retain traces from Japanese sentence structure. That's nice. Still, best case scenario would be if you can find some native speaker edit it out a little for you. Only if you have a friend who can do it for you, getting a random anon would simply be annoying, I guess...

Guys, it would be great if you could give me some examples when you say things like that. As I said, I'm doing it the best I can, but I know it's far from perfect. So, obviously, I want to improve it, but if you only say that there are mistakes but don't point them out, I have a hard time figuring them out.

For example, there's the thing that Horn said about "pre-sentences", like the one in "for the time being, I'll walk". To me, they sound completely natural. I use them constantly in Spanish, even when I'm simply talking to myself or thinking. It's not that I don't trust him or that I think he's wrong, but I would love to have a second and third opinion. Hell, I would love to have thousands of them. So, please, when you notice something weird, say it, even if it has been already said (unless it's a typo, like the diying in chapter 5 page 6), or even if you think it's a minor mistake with no relevance. Otherwise, I won't really know what you guys think. And, in the end, I'm translating this for you, guys, so I want you to feel that the translation is the best that it could be.

I like this, but i'm still considering it just one persons experience in deciphering the characters and what they mean. Like, that Minatsuki was abused, Uboa representing her mom, etc.

But still its so great to see this amazing story get some attention. To anyone who hasn't played the game yet, you should.
