Hi, I'm the editor for the most recent release, and I'm indeed Brazilian, ahahah. Batoto has two language options, "Portuguese" and "Brazilian", since there are a few language differences between Portugal and Brazil. My first instinct was to select "Portuguese", but then I saw both options were available.
I love how Portuguese is represented by the Brazilian flag.
I was just thinking about reading this again after all these years the other day. Now it's in my feed again, thanks to the Portuguese translation, and I think I might do that.
The classification of shounen/shoujo/seinen/josei is a bit weird because it's not the style itself but rather what sort of magazine it's released in that counts. It's just that certain plots and certain art styles have higher chances of belonging to a chosen category because the magazines release what is popular amongst the people buying them.
I'd happened across very mature shounen, shoujo with no romance, seinen that was simply mind-numbing and trite, and josei that could have done well as shounen or seinen or shoujo. It happens, if you want to be sure then you can't just use those tags as an absolute filter.
I find it weird that a fine piece of art like this manga has only 21 votes and 153 follows. How come a gem like that is so unappreciated ? I enjoyed every little bit of reading it, though I have completely no idea why someone tagged it as josei. Plenty of action, nice boobs everywhere and bloodsplatter - I thought that kind of mix was supposed to be seinen... Not that I had read many (or any at all) josei manga, so I guess that my opinion might be slightly warped.

I admit that it isn't very alike but it still reminded me of "Immortal Rain".
