Now if he can get anyone to believe him before it’s too late…

Chapter 15 is a duplicate of chapter 16. Please fix this.

Thanks for the upload btw.

Spoiler

Well that's rare, usually people say that about America (even Americans) though it's probably true of all 'first world countries' at this point. Nice change though.

There is stuff in the Bible that is basically just saying the same. People have said it since forever, just like the complains about "todays youth".

From the description on that link's site, this appears to be the severely cut Americanized version with the additional scenes starring Lorne Greene added to them by Roger Corman's film company.  It is listed as one hour and 43 minutes and the original was listed as 2 hours and 23 minutes.

Yeah, found a download link for the unedited version. Seems to be still working.

Then if you haven't found that one yet, there seems to be one English subbed on kat.

Another quick search. :D

But I will check it out to see for sure.  In any case, thanks for the info.

Actually, I was hoping to get the original 1973 movie version.  I have seen the 2006 remake which had a different ending from the original version that was supposed to be a lot closer to the original novel's ending.

Pervysage must be really lazy if a quick search found this! Either way, thank you, I now have my insomnia fuel for the night.

There is a version of the 1973 movie that had close to an hour's worth of footage cut out and had additional scenes filmed and added by an American film company, but I have heard that it is a really bad bastardized version of the original Japanese film.

And my earlier post requesting this info was in error.  I mistakenly asked for "Doomsday: The Sinking of Japan" which was the title of the 2006 version.  Sorry about that.

If you're talking about the 2006 movie, after a quick search I seemed to have found an English subbed version on YouTube. Here's the link:

Thanks for the new chapters, guys! It's a great way to start off the new year!

What I want to know is:  Where can I get a hold of an English dubbed OR subbed version of the live action movie, "Doomsday: The Sinking of Japan", based on the original novel that this manga is also based on?  Both Netflix and Amazon don't have it and YouTube took down the dubbed copy of it that used to be there.

I've heard that this movie's SFX inspired those in the American movie, "2012."

Well you always can read a novel if you wanna know what will happen into the end.

It's gonna worse. to the last chapter.. I know it

With a title like that...

It's gonna worse. to the last chapter.. I know it

My point is that those characters are not acting naturally. Nobody is an asshole as big as the main character, and nobody would treat such a person the way we see in the manga. The author is more likely fulfilling some kind of fantasy of an unlikeable hero, personification of his own social anxiety, than following a well thought-out plan for character development.

No you're just a naive idiot.

I don´t get something about those comments ... in what way is the main charater acting as some kind of jerkass / asshole? Or is acting based on common sense nowadays enough to be considered a jerkass / asshole?

Besides that, he´s apperantly experiencing serious discomfort and displeasure from being dragged into the city and, furthermore, into a noisy bar where, in turn, he´s basically expected to join the ongoing party despite not being in the mood to do that; and then, everything starts going to hell and a emergency is at hand. There´s also the whole sensory overload issue, too, which can be seriously stressful and thus harmful to the personal well-being of a person.

So what´s that critism all about?

Holy crap, only two pages of credits

*cough* SHELTERED! *cough*...
Ahem, anyways, damn I remember watching the movie for this as a kid, lots of nostalgia rushing at me right now.

Can't read ch3, all what I see is a blank page with a box of Kisu's website and facebook page... IN ALL THE PAGES!

just wait a bit and the page shows up

You 'd be surprised at the vastness of the world......

You do realize that there is murder, war and rape in this world which is far worse than what that character is doing since he is basically just not appreciating city noise, right? So, nobody would do what he does which is far less extreme? Or is it that you think that nobody would prioritize their own well being over the one of a stranger when their life is in danger? Boy, I sure hope that you formulated the whole thing badly..

Btw, if an asshole save my life many time, I will treat him nicely even if it is because of a hunch since the asshole part is just an insignificant detail. Why? 'Cause he saved my life none of the less. I'll probably not even think he is an asshole since he saved me. If the characters acted like you are saying, they would be kinda ungrateful.

If you ask me, you are the one fulfilling a fantasy by thinking every humans are so good, not the author.

This is a joke right?
