But I liked the combination. The "aliens" and "space" weren't used as the ~~rational explanation~~ for the supernatural shit. If anything, they reinforced all the extraordinary stuff. Susanoo being a bloody nebula that'll destroy the earth is a bit more interesting than the human-resembling-forms they usually take in stories. For all we know, Susanoo could be a sentient, super-organism-god nebula or something.

...so that's the end, huh? Overall, I thought it was pretty neat. Buddhism and Hinduism can be terrifying, lol. I did like that religious/historic aspect.

Actually it's more about Shintoism and even mentions Jomon culture which is much, much older.

This is the sad story of Chicken George.  It's... something.  I guess.

I don't think the artwork for The Dark Myth is quite as bad, but they do both remind me of Jack Chick's obnoxious pamphlets.
