That’s what I am doing with Kingdom. I usually wait around three or four chapters and then read them all at once.
Every chapter ends with a cliffhanger... so I took a break from reading it. >.> now time to re-read and catch up to the updates.
When I wrote that message, I wasn't complaining or anything, I was merely stating our reasons. Scanlation involves assuming risks. The scanner had purchased the volume himself, and we know he must have had good reasons to disappear. Real life takes precedence over scanlation, always.
Anyway, we have a new person doing the scans and chapter 62 is in the final steps of scanlation (redrawing).
I only recently started reading this series, dum-dum, and that comment was written immediately after I had finished all there was at the time :3

Actually, we may well be the most hardcore group for redrawing B&W series. At least the average difficulty of our series is extremely high (and that is a total accident, it's not that we choose difficult series, it just so happened), and there is anecdotal evidence that our full redrawing test is the hardest out there.
But for cleaning, not so much, our test is average and we use mostly tankoobon raws. Right now, we badly need a cleaner for Sprite, we have a translator, a monster redrawer and a very good typesetter working on this. The proofreader is also there. But we need a cleaner, a good one that can level, unwarp, sharpen, dust, crop, rotate and choose from among those tools the ones that are appropriate for each situation. We have several chapters ready and could well do biweekly releases or better if we find one.

but honestly, are you guys murdering your cleaners/redrawers and/or cursing them to death? could you all possibly be grim reapers of scanlation? you have got to be the most hardcore scans group bar none, i swear. i really have no means of helping, but i hope you guys get a solid cleaner for all your series, soon.
