Description: | Raruto is a Spanish webcomic by Jesús García Ferrer (Jesulink), started in 2005, and is a parody of the Japanese manga Naruto with absurd humor and a careless super-deformed artstyle. Raruto Sisepuede is its sequel, based on Naruto Shippuuden, ongoing since 2009. Despite the artwork, Raruto became the most well-known parody of Naruto in Spain, and has been sold in printed volumes in manga conventions in Spain. The popularity of Raruto led Jesulink to start a new manga, "5 Elementos", which despite being also published online, has sold over 15000 copies in its printed format. @sparlac: This is because Raruto Sisepuede is a sequel to Raruto. All the names left unglossed were explained in Raruto.
And actually, this post kinda makes clear how the title should be interpreted. Concretely the part with "intentaré [...] sacar temporadas de Raruto cuando se pueda (de ahí el nombre xD)". [I'll try to release seasons of Raruto when possible (hence the name xD).] So the name would stand for "si se puede" (if I may / if possible) rather than "sí, se puede" (it can be done / yes, we can).
"Si se puede" could mean "It can be done", I think that's what the author was aiming at.
Si se puede. If I may.
Sí, se puede. It can be done.
"Rata del desierto" means Desert Rat.
I wonder why the translator didn't exapnd the glossary (at least of the first chapter) with all of the names, there is a lot of stuff left unstranslated.
I like Raruto better, but I guess the same goes for the original. I just couldn't find it as funny as before. There was a very noteworthy exception though. The fight between the Kuchillas is hilariously epic. Really. Even if you can't find the motivation to go through this, like I am at the moment, at least read this fight. You won't regret it.
(lol... Every good ninja is an asshole. I'll never read Naruto the same way again. )
Note that Raruto Sisepuede is a sequel/continuation to Raruto.
everybody let’s go.
Come on, let’s get to it.
I know that we can do it.
