Uh-oh. Bad vibes.
With this last chapter I was thinking
It just struck me as really odd/concerning.

I put a bet on book smart-ness.
He can write novels because he knows the patterns people use to relate to each other. Then he just filter those patterns that people aren't attracted to when reading novels.
Following this line, he can possibly write a great novel while completely failing to understand people and being in general an asshole.
You know, I've seen a lot of male leads with roughly this kind of personality, although he's a bit extreme. Usually the solution is either "He'll just naturally get more gentle as he's influenced by true lurve" or "Doesn't matter because he's hot". What I find refreshing in recent chapters is the way she calls him out directly on what a childish selfish spoiled brat he is.
What I don't understand is how he can be this hot novelist when he seems to have such a piss-poor understanding of people.
Well, I don't vote for a 180 either, that would get boring. However, I could go with him reigning himself in a little. Less like a dog, more like a cat. One that scratches everyone but his owner, and even then is only grudgingly tolerant enough to not get kicked out. LOL
I would love to see the dad put him in a position that would make him very cranky but condition him to bite off truly nasty words/actions. However, I see this going the direction of yet ANOTHER person she has to persevere against. *sigh*
The chapter 14 cliff hanger and the recruitment page is just perfect. So hilarious "then I'll be going" "Wait!" "When the next chapter be ready?" "update faster or you DIE!" Well that escalated fairly quickly. hahaha
if she "tames" him,i will drop this manga as the character how he is; is more or less in my opinion.A little kindness wouldn't be too bad,as long as it warrants it. If the male mc does a 180 i'll drop this manga faster then an axe on dark mage

And if the dad finds out about what was going on, will he try to strong-arm her because of his concern for his son, or sweet-talk her and put his foot down to his son to keep her? I vote for the second, but....
one reminds me a lot of tohru honda from fruits basket... does anyone else get that feeling from her?
I hate it how especially the guy is always telling One that she's too nice and that she should be more selfish. Just no! She's perfect the way she is, though yeah, maybe she should learn how to stick up to herself and to her beliefs. And though the thug girl had kind of good intentions when she did all that shit to her, that was NOT the way how to do it.
(Woah, what a rant)
I hate it how everyone's yapping at One to be more selfish and less kind. Honestly, what's so bad about being kind? Yes, nothing! They're just a bunch of people who are so smitten over her kindness so that they don't want her to be kind to anyone else and at the process they're also hurting her.
I really wish she would someday just stand up to that annoying glasses guy (don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy, but it's true he has a bad personality) when he's spouting that bullshit that just keeps coming out of his mouth about how she's too kind and while making her cry, like in the latest chapter. And also that thing about him kissing her without her consent was such an asshole move!!! But I do like this manhwa so far
Whoa, somebody's jealous. And being a complete and utter shit about it.
Heh could you imagine her displaying her "special talent" in a school idol competition? *Comes out with a live chicken and a kitchen set the girls looking and fawning at the cute chicken* One: "My specialty is cooking chicken" *Breaks the chicken neck as she mentions her specialty the smile never leaving her face* ....and that night every member of the student body screamed themselves awake in horror from the image of that tender smile as she mercilessly snapped the chicken's neck. Sometimes the scariest things are the most unassuming don't you think?
Nothing was scarier then her snapping that chickens neck with a BIG GRIN on her face.. yeah let's not mess with her because she's a "bastard" away from being a complete sociopath.

I think the fastest way to solve all the drama would of been a demonstration of how good she is at cooking live chickens. After seeing her do that with such a huge smile on her face, no-one would be able to say anything else to her
