The series might had went to crap but the manga is pretty good.
MxV is almost done with volume 2.
Check it out on their tumblr under "Our Scandalations".
KHAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
Anyone else see it?
I saw this on tumblr a few months back but never thought it was actually a thing.. o:
The manga is just as awesome as the TV show, love the art.
There are two episode 1 in the series... whats with that?
wtf never knew they made a manga version of the tv show
I don't think it's a bad appropriation, however. I feel that the publicity is one reason for it, with the difficulty of the language barrier, but you can see that the art is actually quite good and the layout was done to great effect. Although it would be difficult to achieve the same level as the mini-series, especially when using the exact same script, the mangaka did an excellent job and deserves recognition.
Also, MxV scanalated this brilliantly which is a high achievement for a small scanalation group; they deserve appreciation for their skilled work.
They seriously turned this into a manga? Pfft- hahaha!
After cursorily glancing through this I'll take the actual show, thanks. It's not bad, but I like the show a lot more. Oh, and if any of you haven't actually watched the current version that this is based off of then I highly recommend it - it's very entertaining.
That Grin on page 14 makes me laugh. It's so horrible.
This is shit.
Trust me, this suffers greatly in comparison.
On the other hand, this is still an amusing adaptation of the BBC adaptation of the 1964 treatment of the 1946 adaptation of the original Study in Scarlet (Each one introduced an attribute of Sherlock that was not found in the earlier incarnations. The sociopath one, for example can be found in the '64 adaptations but not the 46 adaptation and the 46 adaptation introduced his heavier dialog. )
Also turns out Benedict Cumberbatch joined Monty Phyton
