It wasn't mistranslated.I know this because I was the one to translate this chapter. It's probably a clever reference in Japanese instead. The Japanese being "バダグッド" (badaguddo) for the manga and "バグダッド” (Bagudaddo) for Baghdad. The "ダ" (da) and "グ" (gu) characters are flipped around. I think this was most likely intentional. ^ ^
And I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter!
So its a crossover between "Alibaba and the 40 thieves" and "Aladdin and the magic lamp". Looks interesting! I wonder if the city name was mistranslated as "Badghud" instead of "Baghdad".
