Description: | Sasameki Koto is the story of Murasame Sumika, an intelligent and athletically gifted girl who just happens to be in love with her best friend, Kazama Ushio. Unable to confess her feelings, Sumika can only stay by her side and watch over her. After all, the biggest obstacle to her love is something that she can't change. It has nothing to do with the fact they're both girls; Sumika just isn't Kazama's type! Kazama is only into cute girls and Sumika's cool personality just doesn't fit the bill. Much to her friend's dismay, Kazama is always eager to share news about her latest crush. With the duo's knack for attracting trouble, it looks like Sumika's trials have only just begun. ============Notice================ Unfortunately parts of the comic were scanlated by groups that don't allow rehosting. Can you handle the angst? I sure hope you can, because oh boy, is this ever angsty...
It's pretty good, but man... by the time the last chapter came out, nobody cared anymore.
This was a really fun read.
P.S. If I offended anyone with my little rant I apologize also hid my comment in a spoiler due to the fact that I dont want to ruins anyone chance to read this after reading my comment.
Dunno if people notice this but one of the random students that appears on some of the panels looks like Kazumi Araiwa from Cooking Papa.
Well it's finally finished. When I started to read it, I was almost sure I'd never see the actual ending (like in 95% of all the manga, so far), but here we go. And I even liked the ending, too. My only concern is that the girls never got to second base before the end, but oh, well, I'm willing to forgive that.
Think I still love Girl Friends the most. But this is up there.
Short and sweet ending. Gotta say, left me wanting more, specially because of the Great Useless Addition #3.
This will forever be my most favorite shoujo-ai manga.
i think i just got diabetes
My heart is warm.
Ah, finally fully translated. What a wonderful day.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the number one reason to support the legalization of gay marriage all over the world. A romance that great deserves an ending that beautiful.
This is ending prunus girl is also ending. Theres no more good vanilla read as these 2 mangas.
Kissing, huh . . .
*facetwitch* Ah man, marathon reading all of this is rough. So much angst. But such a great story too. It's actually pretty unusual to see a shoujo ai story set in a co-ed school, really sets up situations for drama as our couples clash with typical social stigma. Honestly, I don't think I could handle too many more chapters, haha... already drowned in drama enough. So, I'm really looking forward to the last two chapters. Thanks for bringing this to us MakiMaki.
Those useless addition are basically all about plot and moving relationships forward in the most expedite way that's possibly why you like it.
It's the way the author chose to display progress in the relationships of others aside the main couple without taking too much paper.
To be honest, I wish this story was a little longer. Not, like, drawn out romance, but a few extra chapters would've been nice.
Then again, I liked "Useless Additions" at the end of each chapter, sometimes even more than the main story...
Thanks MakiMaki for the new chapter. I believe there's only 2(?) more chapters left to this series. Wonder how the Author is going to wrap things up.
