My first oneshot by this mangaka and she has stamped herself to be one of my favorite josei writers. It is very reminiscent of how situation similar to this is like in our real world, but the writer makes her characters deal with the problem at hand in a very mature manner and yet delicate in some ways. My favorite part is
how Sei tried so hard not to break down in front of Miho when he asked for a break up. I like how the writer drew his gestures to cover his face in order to hide them from her.The last chapter is definitely my favorite one, which concluded the oneshot perfectly. While it gives an impression that the two will be fine, it acts as a final lesson to Miho about what she had going on before was good - not great but good nonetheless. In my personal opinion, when the second time occurred, she got caught up because it felt great to be away from her problems at home. It gave her a break on her "mundane" life and she wanted to get out from that routine. Meeting an ex again doesn't help the situation at all. With that said, I can never understand how some girls would love someone who cheats on them multiple times.I don't know...it was just...nice. I mean, it is pretty realistic and unique, but not something that would stand out in any way.
Well worth the read.
Easy on the feels, but not devoid on the feels either.
Not too angsty, just the way I like it.
Pretty realistic, not sure if I can say it has a good or a bad ending.
