The last page kinda makes it clear the mangaka didn't want to end it the way it did, but it got axed and so they had to wrap it up. There's no guarantee it would've had a great ending but it would've at least been better than what we got.
is thethis guy a 12yr virgin? i made it to chapter 3 before i rage quit this trash. no story, characters all suck, plot doesn't even make sense. based on description i saw this might be bad, but i've read better hentai. save your time just pass this up!
Sigh I don't know why i bother expecting strong endings from manga series anymore. They usually fail to deliver. Also are we just gonna ignore the super creepy rabbit demons? Those things need to be purged from existence.

Still more plot resolution than I'd expect for Hattori Mitsuru, so we'll count it as a win.
