I never thought when I started reading this many years ago that Batoto would close down before Nyan Koi was finished. It's a shame that the author had health problems and never completed this gem.

Aside from chapter 34.5 being released last year, I don't think this will continue. Even the author's twitter is practically abandoned. She might be hospitalized again.
It's unfortunate.
People from mangaupdates said the author posted a message on twitter saying he will update the series slowly.
In the publisher's website http://comic-meteor.jp/nyankoi/the series is still alive.
As you can see in the main banner, the complete volume 6 is scheduled to be released in 11th of October.
But we already have 4-5 chapters of volume 6, so we might get only 1-2 new chapters.
Yeah, it will take a loooong time to actually see the end of this series at this pace, unless it gets canceled for real in that span of time.
