On a more happier note, we'll be aiming to complete this (and several other) series this year, so expect (hopefully) faster releases.
Also we're not dead.
A better 'English' title would be Malleus Maleficarum (referencing the historical book that also made an appearance in the manga itself), or Hammer of the Witches, instead of a direct translation from 魔女に与える鉄槌, which is itself the Japanese translation of Malleus Maleficarum.
Hope someone else picks this up.

While the english translation was abandoned, a group just picked it up in spanish (thank god batoto supports multiple languages, I would probably never have heard of this otherwise)

The more/most extreme methods have largely been covered up/erased by religion/government/"the people" throughout history. If you're not the slightest researcher in the field, you haven't even found the rabbit hole.
