Ok the super innocent act is just getting ridiculous at this point. You been going out for a long while now and if you still can't even handle taking hold of each others hands normally there is something wrong with your relationship. I am, and really she's right. He's not a bad man exactly but he's pretty terrible at being a dad. Luckily, Kazehaya is a pretty resilient guy and has plenty of other supports in his life, including now our sweet Sawako, and he's reached a point of adulthood where he can start to see past some of the crap and engage his dad more man to man. But that's just good luck; a son with a bit less self-confidence or less ability to make good friends could have ended up crushed, thwarted and bitter. And the dad would have felt terrible about it because he never wanted anything like that, but it would be too late.

I'm not sure if we ever really did in the main manga, although he does a bit of ogling and outrageous flirting attempts during some school trip to Okinawa or something. But there's a fun crossover with Aozora Yell where he makes a pass at a couple of the teacher women from that and makes a total fool of himself.
The constant awkwardness between them is getting old. They been together for a good while and should be over it. Also I can't stand the dad.
